I see Vale are doing well. I'd never have guessed that on the evidence of their visit to Brunton Park, our radio commentator said at one point he feared the worst for Vale's chances in League One this season. Transformation?

Made a few changes but have so far improved with each game so yeah I feared the worst after hearing the responses about the cup game from your fans but so far ok!

It was a case of our players just not being arsed much on the day if we're honest. I'm not trying to take anything away from Carlisle as they played some really good football that game and looked a more than capable side. But it was quite clear from the very first minute that we weren't playing with the same application and determination as we have in the league so far.

Shocking half from us. The players just haven't turned up from the off and Bury have won every individual dual all over the pitch. We've made Bury looking much better than they no doubt are, but fair play, 3-0 doesn't flatter them as we've been dog shit.

We've started every game this season slowly then got into it. This time Bury have punished us and their players can handle the conditions whilst ours haven't got a clue.
Our only hope is the game being called off, unfortunately the rain has gone off a bit.

I think it's a brave referee who would take the decision to abandon this with the home side 3-0 up. Still its probably the only straw we have to clutch to today.

All else fails would be nice to just compete a bit more in the second half.

We don't deserve to have the game called off. Let's take the spanking and learn from it. The likes of Amoros and De Freitas are going to have to learn to adapt their game in these sort of conditions, as places like Bury and Burslem on a soaking wet day are most certainly a far cry from Monaco.

We've had this in our locker when missing a key player or two. Tavares has to come on for De Freitas so we are not as open as a hookers legs but if not fit don't put him on bench.

I'm pretty sure Knops has played as a defensive midfielder in his career. Might have been worth shifting him there and playing Kiko just to stop them having pot shots at us for 45 minutes. It's inevitable that some will hit the target when you allow a side to have so many!
