Only 3-0 so far? Thanks for going easy on Riza's Reception class.

A win's a win I guess. Did our job but would hardly say it was a satisfying afternoon.

Shhh! I don't think Readie really gets it. No helping him now...

Desperate desperate desperate. I think it's you that doesn't get it.

Your attempts at deflection are pathetic. You are headed for the non league hell hole, probably for a very long time, maybe never to return, and you think a few silly comments aimed in my direction will enable you to "win" and wind me up?

No, I'm loving seeing you squirm, and the best bit is still to come. You really have a long period of misery ahead of you, what goes around comes around. Still it's not all doom and gloom, I see Solihull Moors lost 9-0 today. You bunch of losers might be able to scrape a draw with them next season. Or maybe not..........

The game was as expected, we had nothing up front as usual and Cambridge punished our young back line for several mistakes.

At 3-0 Cambridge played with the handbrake on.

A big thank you to the whole of Cambridge United for helping our cause today, I did like their owners piece in the programme which basically slagged our c*** of an owner off. We're all hoping he'll be gone within a month so we can get back to being what we are - A local club for local people.

If we never return, does that mean we won't be able to see you act like one of those clever people from Oxford? ;)

Strange game yesterday, almost felt like a pre season friendly.

We're still far to negative at home for my liking and whilst this wasn't the best opposition to judge on, it's been far to apparent all season, still we're only 2pts off the playoffs although there's a tinge of what could have been for me.

As for orient, I feel for you, when I was asked in the pubs toilets before the game who this was(insert a sticker with orients chairmans head saying "piss on our club, we'll piss on you" I replied a politician? I mean why should I know what he looks like but I certainly do now!!
Poor fecks look absolutely screwed and I genuinely do wish you all the best, I'll certainly miss the games.

Efficient home win. No more injuries and 3 points to keep the season interesting - but the actual match was largely overshadowed by an egotistical Italian tw*t.

I'd been thinking that Exeter would be the tricky one but Friday at the seaside in Cleethorpes is looking a big match rather than a day out after all.

Stay classy Orient fans and good luck on the journey facing you. It will be what you make of it. Embrace the experience.

Cheers. Big summer ahead, with only one item on the agenda, really.

Thanks to everyone at CUFC yesterday, who went out of their way to accommodate the LOFT collection, and to all the U's fans who donated. No surprise who I will be supporting in the boat race in future. Around £1,800 was raised for the regeneration fund, which is fantastic. #footballfamily

It's a sign of the times when Cambridge fans aren't overly happy at a 3-0 win and we think it's an excellent result to only lose by that amount :err:

I think most of us consider 3-0 to be good, regardless of who we're playing. It's more that it's not satiating in the context of your position and it feeling a little "too close" to what we experienced in 2005.

Would I be correct if I assume this side is the one you O's will have next year? Can't imagine any additions to the squad unless that clown manages to find a buyer, and you lot certainly need to get in a few experienced heads to marshall all those kids you have.

If Becchetti doesn't sell then we'd be lucky to have that side as Kelly, Collins and Liburd will most likely be contracted elsewhere.

However someone ITK on our mb who is very rarely wrong is strongly hinting Nigel Travis (CEO of Dunkin' Brand Group Inc) has been having talks with our dear El Presidente and judging by the tone of his posting they seem to actually be having some sort of progress. Touch wood.

I heard a few days ago that Travis and his consortium have been negotiating for about a month - Hence why he was at our last home game.

I reckon (hope) it will get done, but its going to take an age to sort as our finances must be all over the shop.

Sort it out Orient, you're a much more interesting 'rival' than Col Ewe.
I'm pretty sure I speak for the majority of Southend fans to say good luck to you and hopefully with a change of owner you'll give it a good go at promotion next season.
As a non-league ground hopper already I'll look forward to LOTAL guiding me around London's newest non-league venue.

Also - what is this Oxford thing about, I thought Orient won promotion there, over
exuberance in celebrating going up is surely to be expected regardless of the oppositions plight.

And if that's all it was, it would have been no problem. I'm not going to go over it all again in detail, the information is out there if you want to look, but in short their fans were classless and obnoxious. Laughing in the face of crying kids etc while the police forced most Oxford fans out of the stadium. The likes of E10Rifle still think it's one big joke even now.

That is what it's all about, and that is why Oxford fans will celebrate their relegation and demise.

Not only did we laugh in the faces of crying children, I also personally went out of my way to knock ice cream cones from their hands and I believe I spat in one child's milk. Mirth and merriment was had by all. Apart from Oxford fans, especially women and children. I occasionally burst into dark hysterical laughter when I think of the life long trauma I inflicted that day.

Best of luck to all at Orient. U's fans remember all too well when we were hours away from liquidation and the magnificent support we received from other clubs, some traditionally, bitter rivals.

Here's hoping that a couple of seasons of pain and hard work can prove the making of you and that you can get your shit together in the Conference and come back stronger. Worked for us, Donny, Exeter, Carlisle and Luton. (Just don't think about York).

As for the game; well, Orient are going to get rolled over by everyone they have left to play. Their kids tried gamely but in the end were comfortably outclassed.

At the time I was annoyed that we stopped after getting the 3rd, rested some players and let Orient have the ball until F/T. In the grand scheme of things though, perhaps it was good squad management, on a hot day with 5 key fixtures to come and important players working their way back to fitness.

I look forward to returning the compliment in a week or two's time. I do hope SKY Sports pan in on the crying Orient fans after the game where relegation's confirmed.

If there are any crying Orient fans they need to sort their shit out tbh.
Oh, there will be. Rest assured there will be, there always is.

But the crying fans on the day, is only the start of it. It's the ongoing misery of realising you're not part of "proper" football anymore. The fixture list coming out, and realising there are names on there that you didn't even know had teams and don't know where they are. The FA Trophy. The other trophy. I didn't know what it's called now but it used to be the Setanta Shield. Teams with away followings in double figures. Teams with home followings in three figures. Teams who are the second team in a town where you used to play the first team in that town. Teams who arrive in cars or a minibus. All of the aforementioned teams beating you.

You have so much to look forward to............
