I’ve wished Exeter and port vale well after promotion (though i was less thrilled with the latter) but let’s do a pact, no offence, i don’t want either of you in the next round, let’s all get someone decent.
Our fans have one eye on the Potteries Derby but personally I’d prefer Chelsea/Newcastle/Liverpool/Arsenal/United away… probably get Ipswich away or something like Burnley or Middlesbrough

Hey! I thought us and Mansfield were lifelong friends now! Some of the best fans I've come across.

That might be so, but i’d still prefer a top club for a day out!

Think we’d all secretly love a crack at chelsea right now

Chelsea I think is the team we've gone the longest since facing actually so wouldn't mind them.

We usually end up with a Burnley or Brighton though

What a night last night was! We were superb to a man…Worked our absolute nuts off and really restricted them to half chances.

As Denzel says they still had some bloody good players on the pitch: Kruhl, Ruddock, Chong, Woodrow, Adebayo etc but we matched them and even managed to play the final 10 mins with ten men.

Stand outs for me last night were Sinisalo, Aimson, Carroll and Mitchell. But everyone put a shift in.

Hopefully we can get a big tie next.

Port Vale and Mansfield are definitely fwiends since the play-off final. Don’t wanna face em in next round though, I hope for a big Prem club for once.

Last time was Liverpool in the FA Cup 2013, Suarez scored with his hand to rob us.

Certainly much more respect between the two than with our semi final opponents! Great fans and full of class at the final, hoped you'd join us last season but seem to be making a better go this time around.

As long as we’re on the Wednesday, I’m not bothered who we get. United/Arsenal/City for the “cup romance” part, but in reality, it’s going to be Bournemouth (H)

Certainly wouldn’t want ferguson as a manager though, what a thoroughly miserable bitter man he is.

Bournmouth fans would be shitting themselves at the thought of that.

Would be dull that one, we had Brentford in the FA Cup for example a couple of seasons back at home and its like one of those we've played many times before (seen us win the EFL Trophy against them) we didn't get a big crowd as they only had 1000 away fans and it wasn't a huge pull and no chance of TV, that's the3 downside with the Prem having clubs that traditionally have been L1/2 for much of their past hitting money and going to the top (not that I am slating it but from a cup draw POV)

Seeing the respective line ups, fully expected the worse. However we battled so well, gave a great account of our selves and were beaten with what looked like an own goal only. We rode our luck at times with Jensen making a few great saved (expected playing premier league), but we had chances ourselves. Shame we had no one really to bring on except for 2 19 year olds for final 15, but proud of that

Little old Port Vale and Exeter last longer than the treble winners.

Dire draw for both Vale and Exeter but a very winnable tie for us

Why are these draws always like this? Sorry for Mansfield and Vale, I doubt we will get chosen for Sky either

It’s only a bad draw if we lose it I guess. If we win and make the quarters for the first time it’s a great draw.

Would rather it was at home but we are decent away. That said I don’t think we can make 8-9 changes and get away with it this time.

Whoever goes out though will be pretty gutted.

Neither have any chance of tv

Guess it will be Man U v Newcastle Reserves and West Ham v Arsenal Reserves on TV if the schedule allow.

Apparently most of the games have to be Wednesday again too though.

Only 3 games on the Tuesday .

You guys x 2
Chelsea v Blackburn

Not into conspiracy theories but Man U have had twelve consecutive home cup draws. Think they just might well be on the TV again against the Geordies for a change, both clubs obviously need the extra tv cash of course!

Man U are pretty much on TV every time because of viewing figures.

I believe apart from one recent game the last time they weren't shown for a live cup game was in 2005, some dismal 0-0 at home to a non league side...

We have already announced our game is on the Tuesday at 7:45, so assume it won't be on Sky though they haven't announced the picks yet (other than Man U v Newcastle)
