Agree Rotherham on their own patch are like Millwall and capable of beating anyone.

I don’t understand why you would be against anyone saying all clubs should stay within FFP rules. Those rules are similar to setting a spending limit on a credit card and it’s designed to protect fans from having rogue owners who just want to gamble and continue gambling running up 100 million plus debts.

If SW were allowed to spend and build up debts of say, 200 million, the attitude seems to be “its OK because it’s not the club that’s in debt, it’s the Chairman that has the debt”.

A rule that would be interesting is any debt paid in by a Chairman is written off to the club at the end of each year or after 3 years etc. So the owner becomes liable for losses not the club but I doubt many Chairman would agree to it because the risk is too high.

FFP has been a success since it’s been introduced because it’s achieved it’s aim of stopping clubs going into admin. The parachute payments is a different argument to FFP, it was initially a good idea to stop clubs going into financial melt down because many would be to continue paying some massive PL salaries, some say they have an unfair advantage but very few relegated teams immediately return to the PL, so it’s not the advantage some people think.

From what I understand is that when Evans bought the club and took on its debt, there was an agreement that should he sell or want out, he’d not be able to recover the debt owing to him and have to write it off. So if that’s what’s happening at Sheffield Wednesday, then they are not alone.

I think if you're gonna be on the brink of ffp like you and a couple others, you may as well just go all out and cheat like wolves and Bournemouth did.

We didn't cheat, not our fault FFP is completely flawed.

No more than 1,500 heading Millwall tomorrow, pretty incredible that it’s ended up being a dead rubber.
Wouldn't say it's a dead rubber at all, beat Millwall and Derby have to play in-form Swansea, meaning there could be 1pt in it going into the final game.

2pts but yep, you're a defeatist pussy.

The chances are still incredibly slim. For a neutral tonight is a good result though, otherwise it’d have been one of the most dull final days for years.

Ok for people interested in the 2 good teams in the league going for the title.

Meh who cares really. Clearly not your manager, he’s let the team go out on the piss in the week leading up to it.

You mean like he did when we went up at Northampton and won the next 4 and got 100 points, it's called team spirit

Think Boro now favourites given Derby's choke ability on the last day at home.

Not beating WBA on Sunday won't be choking, they're a much better team than us.

Shite second half from us tonight, Swansea played well though. Would normally be a decent result but we needed more. I fear for us if Keogh's out.

I’m not criticising it, I’m saying if he was fully devoted to the title he’d have had you in doing recovery work not out on the lash.

Went past the SUFC training ground on the pauper wagon yesterday, all the pitches are gone, they literally are "on the beach", who can blame them.

You don’t know what recovery work is? Literally every football club will do a day of recovery after a game. Massages, ice chambers, possibly a very light football session.

I think you’ll draw, doesn’t matter if you do anyway. As I said, who’s really arsed about the title...

Good management for me, builds a good team spirit. I reckon they'll want to go out and put in a performance at the weekend for a manager that trusts them to be adults.

I was at a party at the same hotel that Sheff Utd stayed in last year before the game at ours. Quite a few of the players where having a couple of beers the night before the game. Nothing wrong with it for me.

Two new blocks gone on sale for Hull 11am this morning. Sold about 1,200 so far so my predictions gonna be wrong but still maintain it won't sell out.

FFP in essence is fine but only works if clubs don't get rewarded for failure in the PL, I've said before it's an unfair advantage that clubs coming down have so much money that it raises prices and wages so to compete you have to have a go or just accept mediocrity.

You do make me smile, you make me think of Roger Mellie....the man on the telly.
Agree with the bit above though.

You will fill the away end at Hull, last away game of the season, and still something to play for.

You hope Boro make it you mean, and Derby have not choked it at all, no Ram expected us to be in the play offs this season anyway, it will go down to the wire, at least we are involved in a exciting end of to a season battle, and Wednesday win the best chants of all time again, wish we could make up such great songs and bounce like Tango.
