If Diego Costa played for any of your clubs you'd love him. He's an absolute god.

He was last season anyway, he doesn't look quite right yet but it's early on.

We were the better team before the sending off.

Mesut Ozil was missing again today....someone's going to have to tell me what the fuss Is all about...has he ever performed in a big game for Arsenal?

Sanchez was equally as quiet. Cocklin was lucky not to be sent off in the first half for two fouls as we were on the break.

Dont agree, nothing about chelsea was threatening and they looked scared even when we were down to 9 men.

Nothing about Chelsea ever looks threatening but we always manage to put goals past Gooners .

As far as Costa being c*** / Perhaps to you , but to us he is a player that will tear opponents arse into British like flag to win us matches . That is the type of player every club wishes to have who has resilient desire to win .

You talk as if referee basically helped us to win but same referee did not book Conquelin and did not give us penalty . Costa should not be defended for his hand throwing and Dean booked him properly . Him chesting Koscielny was reaction to Koscielny knocking him off his feet . Watch the footage or picture . http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2015...y_and_prepares_to_conf-a-43_1442672752565.jpg

I thought Dean told them all to get on with a game and cut the crap but apparently Gabriel did not understand english . Therefore , Gabriel red was absolutely deserved . That reminded me of Beckham back in 1998 and John Terry back in 2012 with Sanchez against Barca . Pure stupidity to overreact and to let emotions take over themselves to do something silly right in front of referee .

Like others have mentioned , we all have completely forgot that Arsenal were outplayed and could not cope with Chelsea . Wenger quickly took attention in post match interview with comments on Diego Costa instead of commenting on the fact that his players lost cool getting reds and his team could not perform . Easy way out for Wengers , yet , another failure to beat Jose in EPL match .

I'd still take a serial winding up c*** over a serial diving little bitch tbh.

Scared? We passed the ball around like a it was a training session for the best part of 20 minutes. Why try and push for more goals ad leave us exposed to any sort of counter attack? The most important thing for us yesterday was the win....it's all about getting into our stride after an abysmal start to the season.

Scared? Haha. Surely you've learnt after all these years that the last thing a Chelsea side, led by Mourinho, is scared by is Arsenal.

Exactly this. The Liverpool fans on this thread saying Costa is a bigger c*** than Suarez, there's fuck all in it, you just loved him because he played for you and did exactly the same. Both players are massive c*** but they're ones you want playing for you, until they take it to far and start biting people or being racist..... The elbowing would worry me though, it's been made a big thing this weekend, refs will be looking out for it in the future and I doubt he'll be getting away with as much as he does if he continues to provoke like he does.
Piers Morgan is the only Gooner I've heard that is completely honest....Arsenal would love a striker with the same intensity and hunger for the game as Costa. All they have at the moment is a winger pretending to be a forward and a tart who cares more about his hair.

You wouldn't understand this, but when you have testicles and you are playing at home, and you have 11 men on the pitch, and you have the "best player in the world behind Messi and Ronaldo", you aren't afraid of 9 men.
Jose Mourinho squared up to a 65 year old Arsene Wenger and nearly shat himself, your team will always be an embarrassment.

Chelsea threatened today TBH, Mourinho was his typical self and didn't even bother trying to win it 5/6-0, just got the one goal, passed it round for a bit, Cazorla made a bad decision and got sent off, Chelsea got another and sat back. I don't really blame Mourinho for not taking any risks, but if I was the manager i'd have told the team to press forward and get lots of goals, because if they played to their best ability they probably would have.

Got a league cup on Wednesday then traveling North . Why loose all the energy and risk injuries ? Arsenal was sitting in the penalty box quietly anyway . We just made sure they won't step out of the box .

I don't think it's accurate to say that Chelsea didn't threaten - we were definitely the better team prior to the sending off and I thought we looked reasonable going forward. However, I do still think we're still lacking a bit of penetration - would like to see us carve out some better chances. It all seemed a bit too intricate yesterday with players not really taking shots on or crossing when they had the opportunity. Chelsea did seem to ease off in the latter part of the match with Arsenal reduced to nine but, after the start we've had, simply getting the win was paramount - no point in going too gung-ho.

Agree about Ozil being anonymous. He was such a peripheral figure I didn't even notice he was playing until about the half hour mark.

I thought Ivanovic had a much better game probably also due the fact that Matic and Fabregas were working harder in the midfield giving that security for back four . There was a one confusion that almost resulted in a goal when Sanchez miss hit the ball in second half . Otherwise things were ok in defense .

I thought Conquelin was effectively outmuscled and Ramsey was completely ineffective against Azpilcueta .

Ozil like always magically disappeared . Arsenal should give Ozil to us , we will place him nicely in our team . :))

I honestly don't know how Arsenal fans put up with Ozil. He produces the occasional bit of magic against your Sunderland and West Broms but against anyone half decent he just seems to float about hoping things happen. I've seen him probably about 4 times live and I can't say I've seen him do anything that warrants him to have the 'world's best no.10' tag.

Ivanovic was half decent but still managed to wind me up on more than one occasion....there was a situation where we were on the counter with about 5 players vs 4 Arsenal players and he got the ball 35 yards out and went for a shot.

Zouma was motm....still the odd slip and moment when he's out of position but he's arguably our number 1 CB atm and he deserves that spot. He made one unbelievable tackle on Walcott, never have I seen anything like it.

Ozil is no longer best no 10 but he is in top 10 . I think he is just misfit for Arsenal . Maybe it is Wenger who can't get the best out of him or if you also look at the players around him who are also not up to standards he had back in Madrid . I think if he would join us he would go back to his old glory days . He has unbelievable vision and he was one of the driving forces during Germanys World Cup triumph .

Ivanovic should not shoot ! Period ! I thought Baba would start . Baba did pretty good against Macabbi , but I can see why Jose went for experienced Ivanovic to play against Sanchez .

Let Matic do this . Agree Zouma is amazing player ! We are so lucky to have him ! Now we need to pair him with another great defender and we will be secure in CB for another decade .

I think more managers need to adopt the 3-1-3-2-1 formation.

He definitely needs more firepower in that team though. Get a few more strikers in there. Maybe one in goal.

How shit was Keown on MOTD2

Acted the hard man then when called up on it couldnt explain how that would be a good tactic against Costa then refused to admit Arsneal would be a better side with Costa.

He was an oaf as a player and isn't any better as a pundit. Hope he is kept off for the forseeable future.

Surprised the Chelsea fans like Costa so much. It's clear to see how easy it is to get under his skin and he can elbow people as much as he wants but he isn't going to get away with it every week. Wonder how much of a god he will be to you sat in the stands.

He's not been very good this season either. Looks to be aging in dog years as well.

Diego Costa could have the rest of the season sat in the stands and I'd still be wearing my Diego Costa socks to Chelsea every other week.

Zouma certainly deserved it - Terry would have been left for dead by Walcott's pace. Zouma showed great athleticism and timing in that tackle.

....Because apparently Arsenal found video evidence that showed no contact was made with Costa. They've set an extremely dangerous precedent here. Intent is the key and it's quite clear he's kicked out at Costa.

Both players deserve a suspension...only the mentally challenged would argue that. I'm not arsed what happens to him tbh, we won the game and that's what counts....he's dog shite as well so he wouldn't have been a big miss for Wenger.

Justice! Costa deserves at least 6 game ban.
