We have sold out our second allocation now. I have no idea how many this means however!
If you got 660 as your first allocation and you've sold your second I reckon you will have sold out the top of the TL Dallas. So there's only the crap seats in the bottom tier left now. Only £20 though...

Sold both out but now been advised its a £5 cost rise on Pay on the Day and was only sent a small allocation for the 2nd allocation and no more available. Bit poor that.

IF you've sold out the top tier you will have been sent over 1000 tickets which is far more than you usually bring, and you've only sold them out a couple of days before the game so leaves limited time to send more tickets out. I really doubt the club will be trying to rip you off but sure it won't stop people moaning.

Is it not also a case that the away club decides on which allocations to accept as they have to pay for any tickets not sold from requested allocations?

The price hike was only announced a week before which caused the issue as was originally £20 Pay on Day.

We charged £25 for matchday tickets last year whatever time you bought them, so it wasn't a price hike, it's actually a price reduction as long as you weren't buying on matchday.

Top tier has a capacity of 868.

They'll be circa 1,000 Vale on Saturday, of which makes for a pleasing change.

If only Bradford would return the favour!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but haven't we taken over a 1,000 twice in the last 3 years to Vale?

Barring last season 650, and the numerous Tues nights we've had to endure, our followings haven't been that bad - not great, granted.

Let's be fair we must both be bored as f**k of playing each other. Surely the most played fixture for either club in the last 15 years?

Good of you to sign a load of Johnny Foreigners to liven things up really.

10 of the last 15 in fact.

We're in the mix as well for most played against both of you I'd imagine - Bradford we've played in 12 of the last 15, and Vale 10 as well.

Of which I believe all but 1 of the last 11 seasons.

Had a dream last night that we lost 5-1 so I'm changing my prediction to that.

Nailed on Bradford win, probably about 7-0

(Only commenting because our match thread is poop)

Only 7?

I've heard a rumour that Vale are considering saving money by not traveling and just giving Bradford the 3 points

Well the optimist in me says about 11-0, but I reckon (due to some dodgy officials) it might be limited to just 7, disappointingly

Hanson's injury was confirmed yesterday but is expected to be ok tomorrow, whatever team we put out will be well short of match fitness due to so many niggly injuries this preseason, I fully expect a Vale onslaught in the last 15-20 mins

Unlike Mozza, who sounds worryingly suicidal, I'm very excited for the new season although have no idea what to expect. We seem to have made some good signings this summer in the likes of Tavares and De Frietas and also some dodgy one's, like Mbamba, although he may well turn out to be a pleasant surprise once propertly settled in and adjusted. I genuinely believe we have at least as decent a starting 11 this season and who knows, if our new manager can get a bit more consistency away from home than previous manager Page ever could, along with keeping up what was strong home form over the season, then there's absolutely no reason we can't be up there. It really isn't a good league.

My team for tomorrow -

Alnwick

Purkiss
Mac-Intosch
Smith
Knops

Grant
Tavares
De Frietas

Foley

Hooper
Cicilia

Reckon it will be a tight 1-1 draw, Hooper for us. Don't care who gets your goal, just as long as it isn't that ugly Hodor wannabe Hansen.

Don't be so positive - you will scare some of our fellow fans
