This will be my first Orient away trip in 20 years. Hopefully we line up similar to game against Plymouth.
I'll go for 0-6 with the Taylor brothers getting hat tricks.

I'm expecting a tough game, and would ordinarily be delighted with a point.
But with the form Wycombe, Cambridge and Colchester are in, if we are to keep in touch with the top 7, we really need to win this one.

Sadly, I think a draw is more likely. 1-1

We really need to be beating the likes of Orient if we are serious about staying near the playoffs.

2-1 Barnet Akinde pen and Akinola

Can we please stop referring to Orient as clown college in the titles of the match day threads please? We always lose when this happens.

I didn't make to trip to Exeter to see us get done 4-0 by a mid table outfit, but I heard it was bad. Really bad.

Barnet to sneak this 0-1.

Big J with yet another penalty.

And you win when when it doesn't happen?

Yes actually, or at least we don't lose.

Our draw vs Cambridge? 'Leyton Orient vs Cambridge United.'

Our win against Crawley? Leyton's Latest'

Win against Stanley? We were 'Clown College Orient', clearly the addition of Orient was a small, but significant difference.

Every time we're just plain ol' Clown College a defeat is guaranteed

My very first orient away was last season at barnet... And we lost 3-0 and missed the worlds easiest penalty. Hoping we don't piss it up with a 4-4-2. A gut feeling it'll be 0-0 or a 1-1. A draw either way

This will be my fourth visit to Brisbane Road and I have yet to see us score there. On the other hand, we have scored in every away league match so far this season. Something will have to give.
Aside from that, I'm excited at seeing our new signings (or at least some of them) in action and am hoping that Simeon Akinola will reproduce some of the quality he showed when he was at Braintree.
There's no reason why we can't win this one and if we are looking to get in that top 7, we should be looking to do so.

You'll need to email the Clown Colleges ticket office to complain, then hope they actually pick the email up and reply to it, as like everything else we have its run on a shoestring budget.

Personally I'd advise turning up no later than 2.30pm, with our game with Cambridge on new years eve for some reason the club closed all the cash turnstyles before kick off and this made a long queue of people outside our main ticket office who wanted to turn up late and pay on the day.

I'm guessing that tickets are available on the day? Looking forward to this.

We desperately need some fresh faces in to try and bolster ourselves, we've not got the "decent side" everyone seems to think we have on paper, all our quality players have now gone. The only two decent players we have are Gavin Massey (if he fancies it) and Liam Kelly who is injured. The rest are mainly average cloggers at best. We've also got a nice injury pile up at thw wrong time.

I wouldn't be suprised if nobody comes in for a few weeks though, I can sense El Presidente is waiting for Edwards to maybe string a win or two together before committing to backing him or sacking him.

That Barnet team is playing with confidence and has a good mixture of youth and experience. Not many of our players would really get into the current Barnet side. Only Massey and probably Tom Parkes for Michael Nelson, but thats it.

If Barnet are a passing and moving team, we'll get stuffed. Our hit and hope to our two cloggers up front has been very, very limited for some time.

20 years since Linvoy Primus's header gave Barnet their last win here, I wouldn't be suprised if we're mauled 4-0 for the second game running.

I wouldn't replace Nelson for anyone at the moment. He is the old head that keeps us calm and organised. Apart from Nelson we have a lot of pace and players prepared to run with the ball. We are probably better as a counter attacking side but the change since Allen left to a team more willing to keep and use the ball rather than get rid has been very noticeable, especially with Akinola playing next to Akinde.
Just hoping Jack Taylor continues as he did in the previous few games as he looks like a player with a big future. Loves running straight at the opposition and then makes good use of the space he creates.
Our new centre back Santos matches Palmer for height.so hopefully will deal with the threat.
I can just tell all this optimism is going to bite me on the arse.

I'm going to be at this one, God help me.

Only joking. There is no God.

We'll win this 5-0. Simpson with a penalty, a Shaun Batt own goal and a Dean Cox hat-trick.

Expecting Edwards to get the sack when we lose - His league record will match Cavasins and two 4-0 defeats in a row will probably spell the end.

The fact we don't look set to sign ANYBODY, like 12 months ago when Hendon was still here, says Edwards will get the same treatment unless he can get at least one win from the next two.

Is that actually the case?
Needless to say, you won't him away from your club but a situation where he's lost interest yet is unable to find a buyer for the club will probably be even worse for you guys.

Yup. Apparently being offered to various Chinese investors. Which considering we're called Orient and play in red isn't actually the worst idea FB has had...

Presuming it's true.

Our Fans Trust apparently has ideas for when FB stops funding but despite being a member I have close to 0 faith in them.

Never thought there'd ever be a time I'd take Shaun Batt back...

Steady on...

I genuinely can strike a better ball than Batt and he breaks after three minutes of running very fast in a straight line. Rather be blooding Koroma.

His headless running disturbs defences more than Palmer's headless running around however. Also, to be honest, Shaun Batt taking on five men, doing a piece of skill whilst simultaneously falling over and knocking it 70 yards behind him for a corner is probably more entertaining than anything Orient have served up this season.

No matter how bad things get, they can never be so bad that Shaun Batt is a viable striking option. I'll give you him being funny though - I loved some of his appearances.

I rate Palmer higher than a lot of people on here do though - whenever I've seen him he's played well. Hopefully that run breaks tomorrow.
