Exodus geogaghan played in a trialist match tonight and is set to sign, monster of a throw but not inspired by this signing, doesn't seem to have done magnificently at any club he's been at.
Another Gull. Welcome mate. Exodus is a classic Cox signing.

He seemed a nice bloke in interviews and people liked him and called him "Brabs" and whatever but about the only good thing I can say about him as a a manger is that he wasn't as tactically inept as Paul Buckle.

Is there anyone more tactically inept that Paul Buckle? Hopefully Brabin's learnt from his mistakes because I might top myself if I have to sit through another dreadful season.

It's a bit of a while ago but bar Andre Gray (played one game under him after we came up against him in the trophy) in my opinion his signings where poor. We had a lot of crap players come in and he used to panic sign players, like Collin Samuel (I know I'd never heard of him either), Jamie Hand, Tommy Wright etc

He appeared to have next to no control over the players and they came across like an old boys club and where hugely unfit. There where strong characters, like Fleetwood, Keane, Danny Crow, Willmott, O'Connor et Al, "the pea hearts" and they just seemed unfit and uninterested half the time and Brabin appeared to have no appetite to instill any discipline among them, preferring to be one of the lads almost.

This is what concerns me about you is that players like Harris, Mangan and Norwood seem very similar to those players we had, strong characters who with weak management might start taking liberties.

I thought it at the time but it was huge mistake to give Brabin the job after the playof final where in my opinion he was tactically inept in not even having Owusu on the bench who had been highly effective in the run in that season.

Until you named a few there, I didn't realise how many plonkers Brabin tends to sign.

Jordan Roberts signed for Inverness last night subject to international clearance. Annoying thing is as they are in the SPL we may not be entitled to a fee despite offering him a deal and him being under 23 as it is an international free transfer and apparently Inverness are trying to make sure they get him for nothing.

We've signed England C international keeper Calum Kitscha. Just a CB due to come in on loan from a championship club and that will probably complete our summer signings, huge bonus that it's all been done before we've even played a pre-season game.

Danny Woodards has signed for Borehamwood, very good signing if he can leave his injury problems behind!

The greatest ever player to come through our youth system, Jason koumas has decided to retire today. Real shame as he would have been something else in this division. Struggled to stay fit last season though and wasn't used properly so not a massive surprise.

Koumas would have been kicked to pieces in this division, next.

We have signed an England C international, although the club have not revealed the identity of the international!

Certainly the most talented player I've seen come through the Tranmere ranks, could of and should of achieved more in his career though. Involved in 3 Tranmere relegations, can't remember any other player at Tranmere with that unwarranted record.

Happy to have signed Diagne, got 2 players competing for left back now for the first time in years.
Especially when we are paying less than 50% of his wages.

Koumas always annoyed me as he could have achieved so much more but for most of his career he was happy being a big fish in Championship sides. There's been players with far less talent than him playing in the Prem for best part of a decade but a lack of professionalism and desire meant he only spent a few years in the Prem. He also ranged from outstanding to not turning up for squad meetings for Wales. Don't get me wrong he had a good career but something of a wasted talent, as he was exceptional.

Believe there is a compensation fee, though it's not as simple as that.

We have signed Simon Ramsden and Paddy McLaughlin
Wish we'd have tried harder to keep Ramsden when we had him, as he looked great everytime I saw him at Rochdale. Not sure what he's been like over recent seasons. Should be a very solid signing at this level, but you never know with players dropping down. Paddy Mac is a weird one for us, was certainly decent at times but never really fit into a 4-4-2. Overall though, we never really saw anywhere near a susatined period of quality on par his York promotion season.
