So, this game is on Wednesday to avoid a clash with the clubs An Audience With SomeOldHasbeen, arranged ages ago.
Exeter should be champing at the bit after ten days off, but I am sure Reuben Reid and his chums will be looking to get one over us.
Still hoping that JMT and Troy Brown might be back, and maybe new signing Ryan Loft can get an outing...
I'll go for a 3-2 City win (Stockley, Harley, Holmes, Reid, Doidge) to keep us snapping at the heels of the auto spots

Thought we'd worked out how to create opportunities for our decent strike force but Saturday showed still a work in progress (barely had any attempts worth mentioning), though Carlisle's solid defending and the wind were big factors too. If the weather's kinder and you're less than solid at the back might give you a run for the points.

Must win game for us.

We need to get back in the automatic spots. Hopefully the players show the energy and desire needed because we know FGR will come looking for an upset.

Prediction: 2-2. close game with chances for either side to take the points in stoppage time.

Sorry Exeter, but please win FG (didn't think i'd hear myself say that!)

A win for FG but stop Exeter going above us, and send Chesterfield into the relegation zone - though a draw would also provide the same outcome on both fronts

Well, going on our games so far, Exeter seem to be quite an attacking side, something that we try and be as well, which should at least mean it will be a better game then the snorefest up at Carlisle Saturday.

Reid will surely score, and Doidge appears to enjoy playing Exeter, so it'll be a case of not conceding more then 2 if we want to get something.

Yep lump on Reid to score, just hope he doesn’t get the winner.

After two superb wins, it would be just typical of us to lose this one. However I will be optimistic and say our home form will once again prevail in a 2-1 win. Stockley and Taylor for us; Reid for FGR

Big game for us, will be interesting to see how the Tuesday games go, a few top table teams in the pack playing each other, whatever happens we need to win this one with Luton coming up. Fancy us, will go 3-1, but think Reuben will score for FGR

Stats well in our favour, but nothing to show for it so far.

we soaked up a lot of pressure and weathered the storm in the first half, after that we took control of the game. i always fancy stockley to take his chances when they do come. he's been absolutely outstanding for us in front of goal. sweeney sounded like he had a great game as well.

efficient performance and a much needed result to keep us in the mix. big game coming up for us at luton on saturday.

2-0 FT. Good win.

So that’s 3 wins in a row and 6 home wins in a row with only conceding 2 goals. Still got a game in hand and up to 4th. All that with a makeshift defence too.

On to Luton away full of confidence....

Important win for us after the tuesday night results, that's 5 wins out of seven now, getting results even when not firing on all cylinders. FGR the better side in the first half, bringing on Edwards makes a huge difference for us with his fitness, pace and class
