What the fuck are Plymouth doing here?

They are playing against an under 23 team and are camped in their own half shit scared of putting anyone out of their own third. No closing down. Put some tackles in ffs, make life difficult for these kids. Embarrassing tactics.

See you on the 28th jd n co!!

Hopefully! The one bright spot of yesterday was the potential of keeping the Cambridge game on a Saturday. Got a fair few Cambridge-supporting friends who always make the trip so that fixture inevitably turns into an all-day bender, not ideal for a Tuesday night...

Wouldn't begrudge you if you do manage to beat Leeds mind you! They looked well beatable when we played them in the League Cup, albeit they have dramatically turned their season around since then.

Plymouth need to get some pace up front if they are going to operate these tactics. It's all well and good defending deep but they've got fuck all to break with when they get the ball

I know the feeling, we tend to stop to stop off in hitchin for some pre match drinks which is something that won't happen if it's on the Tuesday.

Whilst our record at your place is woeful it's a game I always end up going to, think we're due a win if I'm honest so if you can stay in your current form to give us the best of chances then that would be appreciated.

Who is the carthorse up top for Plymouth? Too busy running around with his shorts up his arse.

Embarrassing tactics so far.

First half was abysmal, second half much better. If Jervis had been a bit more composed to pick out tanner instead of shooting it could have been even better.

Well played Plymouth, good job. Now go on and turn them over at your ground.

In the meantime and in the other game, I'm supporting Chelsea for the first time ever in my life.
Never say never and all that.

Just got back. First time ever I found a dire 0-0 exciting. Adams had a plan, namely to park the bus for ninety minutes. As noted by other posters in the first half, we were awful. The worst we had played in terms of basic skills such as passing, kicking and heading all season. Moreover,we were playing far too deep and offered nothing on the counter.

The second half was totally different, we started to play the ball with more belief and competence and they started to make mistakes. klopp got worried and brought the big guns on, and all that happened was that we had more not less space in midfield to counter. Last ten minutes were very nerve wracking. I am sure Jervis shot rather than passed to Tanner who would have scored.

Bradley was immense in defense (and someone told me about his 'tickling') as noted Garita had a weird fashion thing going on, and I hope Miller's okay (sounds like broken ankle' which is a shame because it was his best match for us).

I don't know what the Green Army came across like on BT, but live we were jumping. About an hour before kick of virtually all of us were in the ground singing (we don't get out much down here) and the two men and a dog locals looked on bemused, then and through most of the game. Much to my surprise Andfield appears twinned with the library in north London.

I hope Jurgen does not expect to fly down as the nearest airport is nearly fifty miles away.

Of course this will probably affect our league form, so some of you may well be very happy.

You could be clearly heard on TV and in the absence of any exciting action on the pitch, the BT cameramen kept on showing shots of the Green Army in full flow.

what did we do to upset the poor petal?
Something crass along the lines of a draw and playing Liverpool at home in a replay was better than a win and drawing someone like Wycombe

meh, that's pretty standard.

Obviously I didn't see the context so maybe it was said super-sneeringly, but drawing anyone in the same division in a cup other than the Tinpot would be really dull.

Also obviously they're going to make a ton more money from ticket sales from a replay v LFC than they would for a game v us, and maybe the replay will get on TV too, whereas it never would if they played us or any other lower league side.

Cracking draw for Wycombe, you'll enjoy that. Not a bad one for Accrington.

Great finish that.

Berry has started well, can't believe we're getting him for just 10k! Wouldn't mind Uche either, 5k would probably be enough to prize him away.

Leeds player should have been sent off. Uche looks like he's lost weight since we had him on loan

good goal (should keeper have stopped it?), but not happy about the Benteke celebration.

unlucky Cambridge, bit guuted for you actually, I think clubs that fight hard like that deserve atleast a money tie at Elland road

8 changes for us and it showed first half, 2nd half we seemed to control

goodluck camridge, hope Sutton get us next

No complaints got me. We gave it a good go but needed to force a second goal in the first half when we were on top. It never came and then Leeds made it really difficult for us second half, couldn't get the ball off them at times.

We put in a good effort and I'm pleased we "played to win" rather than to take the money a draw would have given us.

I'm a little disappointed with the goals we conceded. Two headers, the first was a bit of soft defending from both full backs, the second a poor bit of defending from the corner.

Anyway, I'm not too upset as neither Sutton or Wimbledon appealed much! Best of luck to Leeds for the rest of the season. Monk's putting together a decent squad there.

Middlesbrough away for us. We played them away in 2013 in the League Cup and won 2-1. Strangely though I don't feel very excited about this tie even though its a Premier team away - maybe its because we thought we were going to get Man City as there were only 4 teams left in by then!
I'm wondering if Boro may play a weakened team meaning we might just have a very small chance...

We were fantastic first half and the players should be very proud of themselves. My only concern is highlighting players like Uche and Berry, if clubs didn't know, they do now. We have to hold onto them this window.

We were outstanding first half and the first 5 minutes of the second half, if that looping effort from Dunne (?) had gone in I think we would have closed it out, but ultimately we were punished for not stretching our lead when we should have and once Leeds got 1 we never really got back into the game. I was begging for Dunk to come on before they got their 2nd and whilst he's not 100% right now he might have given us the spark we needed at the time to just stem the flow a little bit, but the goal was an awful one to concede and then allowed Leeds to control the game with relative ease.

They didn't deserve to score when they did but had certainly deserved it by the end of the game, think the draw would've been the right result but we can still be proud of ourselves, whilst being disappointed at not getting more at the same time. Now to refocus and carry on doing as we are in the league.
