I think Bury, Oldham and Chesterfield seem to be in a three-way tie at who can be more pathetic each week.

Sutton away is decent for us. Winnable and easy to get to - the only problem will be tickets...

TBH some of us are looking at the game and thinking it's winnable as well....

Of all the clubs in Leagues One and Two Wimbledon was the most interesting draw. There's a lot of respect between the two clubs, we were of course Wimbledon's first opponents in the AFCW era, and there are a few people who support one club and look out for the others results. And don't forget AFCW ladies play their home games at GGL.

Ticketing will be interesting. Wimbledon fans will get the Collingwood Road end and about 200 seats, so around about 1000 tickets. I'm guessing Sutton season and half season ticket holders will get first priority for home tickets and there are 1000+ of us, and again I wouldn't be surprised if there will be the chance to get multiple tickets for ST holders. And those with Cheltenham tickets will have some priority too I imagine. Doubtlessly there will be Wombles in our end, but not a massive amount. GGL holds a little over 5000

Oh, and good luck for Saturday Wombles

I may be asking you to get me a ticket. I'm not a Wimbledon ST holder as I don't need one.

It's a real shitter, not even a big Championship club... we never ever seem to get a good draw!
Correct me if I'm wrong VF but don't Vale have a decent record at Udders? Also, they have already lost to Shrewsbury with a strong team. Don't come back with "lightening doesn't strike twice"; we've been drawn in 2 cups, away then home to Accy Stanley this year. Don't remind me the scores please.

Half decent over the years... but our away form is shocking!

I think I might be the only Dale fan happy with that draw.
not a great draw for either team - but we have knocked Rochdale out of the cup at least twice before;-
1966 Rochdale 1Barrow 3
and 1948 Barrow 2 Rochdale 0 in a replay after a 1-1 draw away.

Wouldn't say I'm unhappy about it, slightly disappointed but we have a fairly decent chance of progressing, and getting a nice tie in round 4, but Barrow won't be pushovers.

yup - unbeaten in 22 games (if you include the Lancs Senior Cup*)
home form this season (inc Cups);-
W 11 Drawn 3 Lost 0 Scored 31 Conceded 11

* IF you win you're last 16 match there you are already drawn away to Barrow in that aswell

The draw could have been better but Stourbridge or Northampton at home is winnable with our current form.

Chelsea away if we beat county in the replay. Will add a couple of thousand on the gate for the replay. Especially if we take the approach of ticket vouchers to get Chelsea tickets.

Bournemouth. For a split second I forgot they were Premier League and had already begun bemoaning yet another uninspiring FA Cup tie.

Doubly worse reality though: uninspiring and they will probably hit us for four or five.

Horrible draw for Fleetwood or Shrewsbury, you wouldn't fancy either at Bristol City.

You happily take the path to defeat in a glamour tie but suddenly the FA Cup seems pointless, along with our replay.

Oi, you get to be the first team to visit our palatial new stadium in the FA cup. That's not so bad is it?
I would imagine you can have 4,500 tickets as well if you want them.

Bloody Barrow are gonna win the cup at this rate

Rubbish 3rd round draw although there's a great opportunity for lower league teams to get quite far which is good

I'm sure both sides will see it as a winnable route to R4. I'm happy for a trip out to a new ground. Although I've read we're potentially looking at only 600 tickets. Given I'm not a ST holder this year I might miss out. May have to be a home end job...
I think our 1948 and 1966 squad have retired now, though Brian Barry Murphy is still a registered player. It feels like he's been around for that long.

New Stadium?
2 sides are brand new and a 3rd has been taken back to its shell and totally refurbished.

agreed that both teams will fancy they have a good chance, but we'll be very very confident after beating Bristol Rovers away.
We met Carlisle who you knocked out in round 2 late in pre-season - they brought their full strength 1st team down and got played off the park....
you're likely to get 668 tickets (500 standing 168 seated) and i can't seeing it not be all ticket - particularly as those with tickets will get priority when it comes to tickets for round 4 ;)
We were equally as confident we would turn Bristol Rovers over by the way :)

Didn't make or watch the game, but that wasn't even our strongest XI.

We had 4 unavailable, albeit one of those had already been out for 4-6 weeks. Player/coach at CB, who hadn't played since August and shouldn't have been playing because of an injection he'd had 10 days earlier that needs 3-4 weeks rest.

Don't let them hear you say that. They once won the league three times, back when blokes had to walk in front of cars with flags so they didn't go too fast.

The only person that somewhat impressed me for Oldham was that fat bloke Crofts on the right wing, the rest of them were utter dross. If that was anything like their first team then they'll never stay up this season.

Fair play to Lincoln and it was nice to see 'Boon Boom' McCombe is still playing. He did well for us a good few years ago.

Only his 3rd appearance and 2nd 90 minutes this season.

He's doing more on the coaching side now, and with 3 CB's ahead of him, I'm not sure we'll see him making more than 5 appearances this season.

Well it appears with nothing to play for other than a hiding at Brighton in the third round that Karl Robinson is prioritising the league, stated today that he'll be making 8 changes for the replay at MK Dons tomorrow.

Why would Brighton ground be almost full? I imagine the opposite.
