It's our annual Football For A Fiver game. It was being advertised inside the ground.
Will this definitely apply to away fans too? I seem to recall a few clubs in the last few years have managed to get out of applying cut price ticket offers to away fans.

It's always been for away fans as well.

I went to Charlton v Wigan when they did £5 tickets. Was brilliant, 1st and only time I've been to the valley. Looked really full, absolutely packed out. Game wasn't great though, finished 0-0. Was hoping our game would be the cheap one this season!

Will never happen. They only ever pick games where they don't anticipate a bigger crowd. No offence to Rochdale but they would probably bring Around 500-600 in normal circumstances but they'll be looking at over 1,000 now probably.

Dayul yes, this has been an initiative for quite a few years now and every single ticket is £5 and that includes away fans.

Rochdale taking 600 to London lol. They took didn't even take that to Sheffield yesterday. Think they took 250 to Millwall last year. Be around 350 fans normally probably looking at 500 if it's £5.

Oh you're here in another Rochdale thread...
Merely telling Charlton fans what they are likely to expect from Dale fans. When was the last time you took 1,000 anywhere out of Greater Manchester

Quite a lot actually. Took 1,100 to Doncaster, 1,300 to Blackpool, 1,000 to Fleetwood last season. 2,300 to Tranmere and 1,200 to Morecambe in 2015. Probably more but I've forgotten

Maybe you should compare notes when Dale have been to Priestfield, only got 189 to beat. (Just saying)

Why would you even bother knowing how many fans another club took to Millwall of all places?

I have no idea I just seem to remember it was around that figure. Must have seen it on here somewhere. Anyway regarding my original point, you can't really disagree can you? 1,000 fans for Dale is half their home crowd so can't see 1,000 in London.

Either way good value £5 but it's offset by the cost of travelling to London and food/drink. So don't think it will make a huge difference to the away gate anyway.

Also, calling people autistic is a bit weird just because they share a different opinion than you.

I haven't said I disagree with your opinion. Dale usually have c250 away fans at a London away game, we should take more with a cheaper ticket offer. Will it be a following of 1000? Will it fuck. The seemingly obsessive nature you monitor all things related to Rochdale's crowd sizes is amusing though.

Oh my days crowd twattery rears its ugly head....whilst I am here though, a Charlton fan questioning someone on away support, deary me.

For the record using the old percentage of home support logic, Dale generally have good away support and have done since those golden days when Steve Parkin took them away from finishing 20th in the basement every season. Before that era I can't help though.

Owing to my Dale supporting Grandparents I witnessed some of those golden games of Parkin and some from the darker era previously. I do believe the Barrow era at Spotland made the Casper era at Bury seem like a Golden age. :ffs::ffs::ffs:
