Another packed Mem for a game against a team I considered contenders. Posh have been inconsistent at best and we have been in imperious form. I fancy yet another win here with our magician Colkett proving the difference. 3-2 with some great attacking football on display.

Peterborough were one of the fancied sides at the start of the season and although they've been a little inconsistent are still only 3 points off the play off's. They have a reputation for scoring plenty of goals and they're the 2nd top scorers in L1 again this time around. They've also conceded 2 less than Rovers and their goal difference is only bettered by the top 4. Almost cerrtainly better than their current 10th position would suggest.

I'm expecting a tough game and one where we might haver to score 3 to win. Actually have a feeling it might end as it did last time we played Posh at the Mem, 2-2.

No idea what team or tactics we're likely to go with but I'd be amazed if Roos, Lockyer, Brown, Lines, and Taylor weren't in the starting 11. Hopefully DC will find a place for Colkett too as he's been superb in recent games. The rest will depend on what formation we adopt.

Completely robbed by a sh*t team.
They played the ref (who was the worst I have ever seen by the way) better than us and won.
One way traffic for most of the game and should have won comfortably. Bad mistake for their equaliser, but we still should have won anyway.

Gutted because it was a travesty of a result. These things unfortunately happen in football, but it's tough to take when it does.

An absolute robbery but we only have ourselves to blame. If we took even half our chances/opportunities we'd have scored 5+ and their two goals were an individual error from Roos and some really sloppy defending. I think we can take heart from the fact we are so gutted about losing to a Peterborough side that cost so much money - we're a decent League One side without a doubt.

Fully agree about the ref though. He didn't cost us today, but he was embarrassingly poor.

How on earth did we lose that. I can't remeber the last time we've been so much in control of a game for nearly the entire match and actually lost. Even a draw would have been a travesty. More possession, 24 attempts on goal to Posh's 10, 9 on target to Posh's 3 and 8 corners to Posh's 3. I have to say it felt even more one sided than that.

Peterborough never looked like scoring yet they walk away with 2 goals thanks to 2 individual errors and 3 points. Unbelievable.

Oh well, that's football I suppose. Have to give Peterborough some credit for some great last ditch defending but we really should have scored 4 or 5 on the day.

Not too concerned, more performances like that and we'll be okay.

So the pitch was good in 2014/15 ...considering the state of the pitch on Saturday it looks like he has got very complacent unless he has been told by management to keep the pitch on the agricultural side as it suits your style of play?

You are probably right...your team certainly did not play like it was important to them and ours did. I hope your team turn up on the 19th because if we give you one more drubbing like that we will officially denounce our rivalry with you.
