How to deal with Stop and Search

Jockney - what would you suggest as an alternative? What do you do when your car gets nicked, you get mugged, your house is burgled, someone you love gets hurt or goes missing, your car breaks down on a motorway, you want to report a crime etc?

THAT is the most outrageous piece of utter garbage I have read on this forum. You Jockney are obviously a 'hater' of the Police & I've got to say that in situations I have criticised them myself when justified but that comment defies fucking belief!!!

What would it take for some of you not automatically believe the police's version of events?

Need to get away from this talk of individual police officers exercising unsanctioned acts of violence and towards the reality, the fact that the police are by design rigorous enforcers of systematic state violence. I am indifferent to the plight of individual coppers who, consciously or not, reinforce and make themselves complicit in that violence. It is very much us against them, and they are far better equipped to take the fight to us and they do it far more often than we do.

Morons everywhere on both sides of this. The worst part of it is that those like Aber and Jockney genuinely believe what they are saying, and genuinely believe that violence against the police is acceptable regardless of the circumstance. At least Johnny is genuinely retarded, and has an excuse.
It is the idiotic approach of Aber who decides that the horrific events of Orgreave, Hillsborough etc, means that all police are scum deserving of assault and attack. At the same time he lectures us about assuming that police are automatically "correct and above reproach". The absolutist stance of Jockney and Aber is hilariously hypocritical when at the same time they attack that same approach from those who believe the police can do no wrong.

The bit about how it started hasn't even come from the police, it has come from a witness who has stated that a fight broke out, and THEN the police turned up.

Why is it so beyond comprehension that school children might be little shits and organise fights in public? Where did you grow up where this didn't happen? What bubble were you in?

Or if this wasn't the case, and police did stop and search someone, why is it beyond comprehension that the kid was carrying a knife? It happens, I've seen it.
