How was the transfer for you?

Byrom, better than any of our midfielders by a mile and won promotion last year
Whiteman, We can only dream of keeping him he's too good for league two omg, a midfielder thats now scored 3 in 4 games
White, We finally have a decent rightback who should be in the division above
Kean, only conceded one so says it all when compared to scott shearer in net
Coulthirst, looks a tricky player and has 2 goals in 3 games
Arquin, will be the first of our new signings to leave, not that great but looks like there could be something there
MacDonald, was jealous of burton and oxford that they had such a good winger, won promotion last year
Potter, another that won promotion last year, better than any other attacking midfielder we have

Very positive and if these are the players Steve can get in January then I'm looking forward to the summer.
All have improved us and i think thats why we've started this year off so well, we could sneak into the playoffs and if this good run continues we'll definitely be there.

Which presumably means that if Mansfield do not get promoted this year most of their players will be off next year?

They're all improvements on what we had but let's not get carried away. We've signed 3 who all won promotion from this league last season, Why have the dropped back down so soon? Hopefully its down to a managerial change in Potter and Byrom's case.

Ben Whiteman does look a good find though. He's easily the best player we've bought in IMO.
