Two crap teams, one cant score and the other cant defend.

Our only win in 10 was against these and we have lost all 4 since by 1 goal. No idea why we are playing them again so soon?

No matter what the bookies think, most neutrals will agree we are favourites.

However, Il go for another defeat 1-2. Must be time for an OG (Flint) and another soft penalty, Ipswich's only shot on target of the match. Reid consolation in response.

Ipswich won't concede due to their fantastic defence. Just a case of whether they can score...........

We're pretty bad, but Bristol City are in terrible form so it's certainly a game that we could win. I have no expectation that we will though. This will be the first game I've been to for a few months so I look forward to seeing just how much things have regressed.

In terms of our team, I'd like to see something like

Bart
Chambers, Webster, Berra, Knudsen
Dozzell, Skuse
Ward, Lawrence, Sears
Pitman

Or McGoldrick in for Ward and Lawrence out wide, in which it's more of a 4-4-2.

Think it will be a poor game in all honesty, I can see LJ changing the team again by bringing Korey back in. Although I hope Brownhill starts, he had a good game at Wolves!

I'll go for 0-0

Reading at home next.. Meh

Meh, another uninspiring shit fest of a game.
1-1 which does nothing for either club.
£32 per ticket and that distance? Balls to that.
Roll on January.

This is going to be an utter shitfest. Shitfest of all shitfests.

Bristol City 7 defeats in last 8 games. That single game without a defeat was a 2-0 win over us. So our stubborn, ignorant git Mick McCarthy will certainly big up the opposition like he often does. 'We saw them 4 weeks ago when they beat us, they are no mugs aren't they? They should be in the top half as they are really good'.

Even though Bristol City have been poor lately he'll still set us up defensively. All his beloved 'proper blokes' who are in the team regardless of their form will be in the team again.

If we don't make Bristol City look like Barcelona that means we will have done well.

We are sh*t, utterly sh*te. It's gonna be toxic, poisonous atmosphere in half empty stadium. Our crowds keep dwindling due to the morons that run our club. Owner, board and manager.

Ipswich 0-0 Bristol City........ and that stubborn idiot will be praising his proper blokes for that.

:dk:Only mystery was how it took Ipswich so long to score against a defence of Moore, Flint, Bryan with rock solid Freeman and ODowda the next line

Bored now, lets try and lose by 2 next time

Well that was mildly decent.

9 off the play offs and 11 off the drop. Oh I do love being a Town fan!

Very surprised at the poor attendance tonight, is that the norm nowadays?

I'd like to see your attendances if you were in our position...and I'm talking further from the league table

Otib has crashed with all the wanking off from the experts telling us they were right all along. So ill post on here to say that I have lost faith in Johnson but more than anything I simply think our team is piss poor and needs a serious injection of quality to avoid another desperate struggle. With or without Johnson, whatever. Pack, Reid, Golbourne, Paterson... Just not good enough.

In your position? Would you care to swap your last ten years with ours?

Stagnation you mean?
You've got a revamped stadium, an owner who backs the manager with funds, decent priced tickets for the fans...
Christ you've been closer to getting to the Prem than us in that time!

At least youve got decent memories of the Premier league/cups to look back on. This fucking turd of a club has never done anything and despite all the good things youve mentioned, doesnt look like it will anytime soon.

We've finished above you probably twice in 30 odd years so no idea what you are on about? Try being bottom of the third division and come back with a hard luck story.

At 20, I'm yet to experience that! I've only witnessed the gradual decline of the club, we averaged 25k when I started going. No way was there 15k there tonight

We are talking about the position of the club's currently. There are reasons why you average more than us this season.

And what have we done? We reached a PO final and have never got near it again since. A revamped stadium yes, expensive tickets (£530 for ST in new stand, Cat A games in the Dolman are fucking £38) but nowt else.

You finished above us last season you finished in the POs a couple of seasons ago, you can keep on telling me how shit things have been for Ipswich Town but by no means have they been any better for us.

If you think £530 is expensive, then maybe you'll realise my point. £550 for my season ticket and that's the norm at Town.
How often is cat A used?

We've got an owner who is more than happy to fund a small loss in footballing terms in the hope Mick will magic another play off campaign.
We were once a transparent community club and many fear we may become another Coventry.

The discussion was about attendances. You're a team on the up with people running the club wanting the best for the club. That is what brings fans.
We're a team declining, with an owner who couldn't care really, a manager who has many faults that the Wolves fans can understand and we're losing fans by the season.

Yes we've got a great history and something to be proud of, but that's before many current Town fans lifetime.
