Can see Hanson getting torn apart at Sheff Utd if he doesn't score in his first few games, they won't stand for his constant fouling and heading it on to no one, or just arriving on the edge of the area when the perfect cross comes over the 6 yard box, or heading it straight into the keepers arms from 3 yards out. He had his 'haters' here but he also had plenty of people who kissed his arse constantly, he won't get that at another club.

Good luck to him anyway, he's left an indelible mark on the club but if he wasn't here I think we would have found a striker who would have done a similar if not better job than him.

More I think about it the more I'm not bothered that he's moving on. All the best to him but there definitely comes a time where the two needed to part. Not sure about this German from their Third Division though.

Looks reasonably strong rather than lightweight, his self description is "physical and likes to score goals". We'll see how he copes against Lg 1 defences, especially after the hype Tyler Roberts got by West Brom fans. Also, no pressure with being described as the "next Fernando Torres" as he was when signing for West Ham.

Looks like Jay O'Shea off to Sheff Utd of loan till end of season. He's a good player for a team that's winning, not so much for a team in a relegation scrap. He's got a touch of class that can win you a game, but also can be totally invisible for 90 minutes.

Can't understand us loaning him though, either flog him or keep him! I can only imagine we plan to offload at the end of the season anyway and getting him out now, even on loan, frees up his wages for someone Caldwell wants.

Despite all that, we have Magennis out injured for a month, Novak not yet match fit and have just loaned one of our young strikers to Bromley. I would be unimpressed if we allowed him to leave but not surprised unfortunately with this club.

I read you'd be willing to let him go in order for Robinson to make his 'marquee' signing. I don't really know if he is worth us spending a lot of money for us when Cox is banging them in currently and I wouldn't take Fortune out the side either. I guess with Nouble coming in and we're after someone else and willing to spend on getting this someone in it means the end for Ranger

Probably best all round. His time had run its course at City. The change will be beneficial for both BCAFC and Hanson, I would imagine.

It'll be beneficial to Hanson as he will have increased his wage there whereas here we were looking to cut it. Was a no brainier on his part. We need a couple of strikers in though as apart from Hiwula and Clarke we are looking very thin.
