Ah, not too bad. I’ll be attending - 1st away game of the season.

TBH, Lincoln could easily build into the corner etc. But assume the board is awaiting the novelty to ware off so normality can be resumed. Facilities are decent and the local pubs are good

TBF, Lincoln allocating 1000-1200 to away fans is more than enough for most L2 clubs. Off the top of my head, I'd say only a handful of current L2 clubs will ask for more.

I've often come across criticism of their away allocation (not on this board though - mostly on fan forums/Facebook etc) and I don't think it's justified at all. The present situation at SB is similar to Kenilworth Road, as in the rest of the ground is full of home fans. If I'm not mistaken SB holds just under 9000, so 1200 is more than decent IMO.

I doubt we’ll take more than 800 - if that. A lot depends on the final phase of recruitment. Midfield is very strong, up front and defensively we look weak.

Are away fans in the Stacey West or the Co-op this season and will we get the full 1800 or whatever it is we usually get?

Holds 10000. Stacey West holds 1908 but one block is always closed hence the derby games the cods n co get 1800.

SW and yes - can't imagine the police allowing sliding segregation and home and away fans sharing a stand!

Mustn’t forget me earplugs. That fucking siren.
As well as earplugs our fans now take eye patches so they don’t have to look at any cringey tragic banners that the sad bastards might make again.

Think if we're going well we'd take more than 1200

Yeah you can’t be complaining considering how many teams will actually sell out the allocation, I can think only think of County, Grimsby and Mansfield that will definitely sell out.

We’d sell out Lincoln if we had something to play for. Gameweek 44. Our away followings will be quite consistent this season I’d imagine. Looks like we are taking 750+ to opener at Stevenage.

Tbh, it's great that 1st away game when back in the league, as you know you'll not be going to loads of tinpot grounds (unless you get Morecambe or FG) - also lucky that you've many grounds relatively close to you - gutted we've got you on a Tuesday night like

Stevenage would be pretty low on the list you’d pick for the first game back, but as I can’t make any of the first 5 saturdays it suits me!

I’m allowing around 3 hours from Swindon to Lincoln. Would that be about right? Don’t want to eat into Guinness time!

You might be playing for your league place I guess.

Still got a chip on your shoulder from two years ago or just fishing?
None at all. I was surprised by how much you made hard work of it last year in the Conference (picked up second half of the season, of course) and you don't seem to have added much to that side so I think it could be tough. I'm surprised because with your crowds and location you should be able to attract some decent signings.

Your best way would be through Stow, then A429 then Warwick bypass, A46, M69 around Leicester and then A46 to Lincoln.

Three hours would be cutting it fine, I should allow a bit more.

We made some shocking signings that Mellon was forced to play, it took him till December to sort the team out and then we were fine. We’ve made some good additions to add depth to the squad and it’ll be far too good to get dragged into a relegation scrap. The new quality of striker we sign will decide whether we’re challenging for the playoffs or finishing 10th to 12th though.

Been allocated 700 for Forest Green for our first away game. Gone to season ticket holders first. Anyone know if we’re likely to get any more should we sell those? (No idea if we will or won’t). Asking for myself as not a ST holder.

Capacity was more last season (just short of 900 iirc) but they've been working on that terrace to put in some seats and cover so expect it's reduced until that's done. Might be wrong there as i think if it gets done capacity would actually be up a bit.
