Looking at the away followings this season I'd say it's a nailed on cert Richard.

Whoever goes is going to be in for a shock when they see the other two stands at Field Mill full.

Well that's never happened before, or even close.

This is the away support thread Mr Magpie. If you want to discuss our home support start a new thread please

I don't want to discuss it, it was a statement of fact Sammy The Stag, there isn't anything to discuss.

No need for a home support thread, it's not important :dk:

I can say with a certain degree of accuracy that that number did not reflect the number in attendance in the stand, it was such an entertaining game that I counted them.

They might just about make 3 figures for their local derby at Valley Parade next week

He actually posts more about mansfield than any of us do. He’s #obsessed with mansfield.

We should get him along at field mill , maybe for the away game to ensure they actually manage to sell out, which of course they never do.

Just a shame a load of our dick heads were there looking for trouble after the game, for once the massive Police overkill was actually needed, my car was parked around a 20 minute walk from the ground and it was kicking off around us for the whole of that walk.

That's a shame to hear of that. I never saw any hint of trouble on my walk back to the car.

Unfortunately we came out the ground pretty much the exact time all the idiots did and they were all singing that ‘went to kill a Yorkie’ song and some Bradford fans started gobbing off back at them and then it was kicking off the whole time after that, the coppers were chucking fans about from both teams but not actually arresting them but without the coppers there it would’ve been a full scale brawl so for once having that many there was fully necessary.

Strange, I was one of the thin black line and I counted 101 of us, not including stewards

People do tend to go for a piss and a pint at football games to be fair.

But I thought I was #obsessed with Wrexham? Must be both

Oh the irony and you probably can't even see it. Because of course you never post post or make reference about Notts :fl:.

Actually I wonder how often you contribute to the 192 page thread about Notts County on your own club's messageboard when we weren't even in the same league? Nearly 5000 posts in 5 years is very impressive even for Mansfield.

Of course you won't find a designated thread on our board, we just care enough.

I will have you know I've been to Field Mill, unfortunately, many times to see Notts lose. It's often been men Vs boys as we once again fault to get up for the Nottinghamshire derby. I remember once or twice us getting smashed and leaving with a mate with 15 mins to go to get the hell out of dodge before less than 5000 locals are let out at the final whistle.

He’s talking about the average away support table, how many each club just takes to away games.
Comparisons with home & away & average tables is essential. For instance this week Notts Co had more away support than did FGR at home.

What I’m saying is, when Firthy asked for the averages he is talking about away support averages.

Okay, we'll agree to disagree.
So Grimsby are averaging 12000 away fans at every game are we?
I didn’t realise our support was quite so good as we had 1700 at Bradford yesterday, and around 600 at Walsall, so that means we must’ve had around 34000 fans travel to Notts County which is some going.

Firthy as Alfie is obviously just being really awkward for some reason when he knows exactly what you mean I’ll work out the averages later and post them instead.
