Yep, I think Worrall has been the key to be honest. He had the beating of their leftback almost at will second half. Him providing that outlet all the time has been vital for us.

Defeat today mostly down to shit for brains George Ray. Honestly do not know which decision was worse, Kettle letting some basketball tactics go prior to the equaliser or George Ray going full Jackie Chan when on a yellow. Shame as we were heading for a draw minimum in my opinion.

Oh well, at least Ray won’t be there to fuck up next week. It was debatable that he replaced Hunt in the first place.

Great achievement by one of our own and although not in the second tier like the ilk of Naylor, Foyle, Guppy etc he is now rightfully in the category of Vale legends. Just those 33 goals in this division in 2012/13 are enough, some incredible memories, the Rotherham games, His rolly polley against AFC Wimbledon on sky, the goals last season and this despite being injured and still playing through it.

One of our own and probably won’t see a Vale player do it again for a long time.
