I like Blair, pretty shocked we have lent him to a fellow league two club. He seems to be permanently injured so can only think this is in order to get him fit

We've signed goalkeeper Ben Wilson on loan from Cardiff - he goes straight into the team tonight.

Come on Notts fans, how bad is Blair Adams?

He was good last season, he's better going forward than he is defensively but he's by no means a bad defender, just has iffy positioning and gets skinned a bit like most lower league attacking full-backs. Got a bad injury record which has hampered his Notts career a bit but I've always been surprised Moniz doesn't really fancy him.

Fuck knows why we've loaned him to you

He's not been seen (along with Scot Bennett, also off out on loan) since the debacle at Oxford back in August.

He's a decent player. Not amazing, but i'd have no qualms with him being our left back at all. This is another blow for our all-conquering reserve team, though. They might only win 7-1 this week.

Moniz has had a go at him in his post-match stuff, called him disrespectful for just leaving without telling him. :box:

Doubt he'll be back, then.

Haha, how the hell do you leave without telling the manager  Does Moniz not get a say on loans then?

I assume that we've decided who is available for loan and the club then deal with any approaches for them, yeah.

Rumours on our forum have cropped up that we're signing Jimmy Spencer on loan from Notts County.

Would be plausible with the recent form of Green. Surely Notts fans wouldn't be happy though? Didn't you guys rate him?

Not a huge suprise, but half of the clubs in the Championship want to sign Jay Simpson from us it seems, with Ipswich the front runners.

Easily one of, if not the best striker in the division and far far too good for this level, there was always going to be interest in him.

He needs a full season of playing as the number one striker IMO, but money talks.

Sell him and we may as well throw the towel in.

:bg: Works hard, wins lots and lots of headers, he's made some very useful cameo appearances from the bench and made some good chances for the team.....But he will not get more than 6 goals in a season, his own composure in front of goal is generally poor.

That about summed him up here, although he was useless in the air but always gave 110%.

We've just signed Hallam Hope on loan from Bury for a month.

Any good?

Bury fans last summer were talking about him as if they'd signed Neymar. Everyone was taking the piss out of them for it.

Obviously has disappointed since.

Not sure what to make of Hallam Hope, but has the potential to do well at this level.

Odd that he didn't do so well the second half of last season for Bury, so they signed him permanently on a three year deal.

Does this mean Jabo isn't as close to full fitness as we'd hoped?

Gilliead is playing on the wing, Osei and Rigg aren't good enough so we probably could do with another striker. We've now got Hope, Ibehre, Wyke and Asamoah as good strikers.

I'm guessing since they're sending him out on loan he's joshing at the idea that Hope is a good striker.

He can reserve his judgement on Jabo, Asamoah and Wyke though thank you very much.
Most people on Bury's forum seem to think he's been played out of position there (stuck on the wing) so maybe he'll do alright for us if he gets played as a striker.

Nicky Bailey has signed for us. If he is fully fit then he will make a big difference but I'm nervous about this one if he fails to find his form from last time he played for us.

Don't expect Bailey to be anything like the player he was first time around, but on the plus side he was miles too good for this level back then, so even an 80% Bailey would be a great signing. On the down side, he's struggled with knocks over the last couple of years, so that's a concern. I wonder also how much fitness he needs to get before he can start a game.

We have extended the 1 month loan of Jordan Graham from Wolves until January.
He absolutely tore Orient apart in the first half our game a couple of matches ago and then the stupid little boy got himself sent off. 2nd yellow for kicking the ball away.

Nevertheless, having served his one match ban - today he is going to make amends. At least a hat-trick of assists with his superb crossing ability.
