FGR Fans, we've signed Ben Stevenson. Any good?

Excellent for us in League 2, very popular with fans still one of our better players last season despite a few injuries. Good all rounder in midfield, doesn't score many but when he does it's pretty special, see his goal v Birmingham in the FA Cup last season.

Another big loss for us.

Scots Daily Record seem to think we are signing Dean Campbell who was at Stevenage last season.

Very tidy player with an eye for a pass. Looked good for us when playing a slightly more advanced role where he could thread the final balls through.

crawley fans, James Tilley|?
Winger, likes to come inside. Good player but his stats should be better.

Seems we are still getting rid of players to our relegation rivals (think you'll do better this season).

In Lindsey we trust

I would be happy with Lee O'Connor at right back to free up a midfield role for somebody more attack minded. No point crying about spilt milk.
I don’t disagree with using O’Connor as an orthodox right-back and given remarks from the management team that is likely to be how we’ll play.

Signed some lad from Hereford. Mclean a winger by all accounts. Nope me neither.

Crawley announce Liam Kelly. At Rochdale last season so knows about a relegation dog fight I suppose. 2 year deal.

I honestly don't remember him last season but he previously made nearly 100 appearances for Reading in the Championship . Also 29 appearances for Oxford in league 1 and rather oddly 1 appearance for Feyenoord.

Was really poor for us and a huge let down in the promotion season, go as far to say if he hadn't got injured at Exeter the last day we'd maybe have missed out on promotion via the play offs.

Done ok at Stockport though I think... oddly signed for them a day after rifling in a stunning winner against them in the paint pot pizza LDV Glass cup.

You’ve just signed Dacres-Cogley now his contract with Rovers expired, curious as to why you’d need another similar player?

Wilson was one of the best players in the FGR promotion team, seemed to have improved from his loan spell with Rovers, which in itself was promising. Got a lot of pace and a good attacking full-back, though the better all-round player, I’d suggest JDC might be marginally the better defender.
We play with wing backs and with Bradley returning to Liverpool we have none on our books...Jones can play there but lacks pace
Wilson had injury issues last season so i doubt he is capable of playing 50 odd games

Good luck to him and Crawley.

I can't say I'm bothered he's gone. Had many more bad games than good for us. His main problem for me was he is just so lightweight he got bullied off the ball. I feel if he had better players around him than we offered he'd look half decent. Not sure if that'll be the case with Crawley as I expect you'll struggle again.
Have a google of his signing for Feyernoord if you fancy a laugh. Unveiled via helicopter landing on the pitch.
I've got to question the lad's mentality after being touted as an upcoming star in what was a very good Reading side, then signing for a giant like Feyernoord only to find his prime years playing at the bottom end of league two. Something not right there.

The ITKs reckon our first signing will be made tomorrow. Who it is is an unknown, Powell maybe? Who knows.

He has played most of his Ireland under 21 games at right back and a good amount of his Tranmere games. He is also 4 years younger than Josh Dacres-Cogley but has only played 27 games less so i am not bothered if he is played there.

Clearly a decent footballer but he just didn't suit our wingback formation at all as his legs had clearly gone. He slowed everything down and it just made him stand out as a weak link.

I think play him deeper and utilise his left foot and he can still play a part.

He was LCB for us, decent distribution from there but lacked mobility at times. Great set pieces.

James Tilley signing now confirmed!
He was the only senior wide man at the club (Davis is a young 'un.)

I suppose we could go 5 at the back and use Tsaroulla and Gordan as wing backs.

A while to go yet though.

I quite liked Tilley when he was here but he was very lightweight

I suspect you're about to announce Ryan Jackson from us as well.

He announced on Twitter that he was leaving last night, and then the club put an article on the website, but the initial one had "ryan-jackson-joins-sutton-united" in the url. It's since been changed.

He was bloody brilliant for us last season, but being 33, he's now susceptible to injuries. Will be completely fine in League 2 though - I'm gutted he's rejected a new offer from us.

Comments elsewhere from Hereford supporters.

By no means a bad player but he must have one hell of an agent. NLN looked about the limit of his capabilities, I’m very surprised he’s signed for someone in League Two. Good luck to him, there’s some potential there, but don’t expect miracles.

Well summed up imo.

Very quick, pace always catches the eye, but limited outside that.

He did improve, for example at the start his left foot was utterly useless, that shows a willingness to work and learn.

I'd be surprised if he turns into a regular at FL level, but you never know, I hope we've a sell on clause just in case.

Any idea what undisclosed means? A box of assorted bibs and training cones or £25k + add-ons?
