Anderson and Bostwick both confirmed.

Bostwick. Crikey.
Blimey. I am a little bit jealous because he was exactly the player we'd be looking for a few weeks ago. I wonder if any of the bigger clubs in L1/L2 were even aware of his availability?

Some signings in L2 this year.

One signing doesn't make a summer though.

Wtf is all this love for Bostwick? We turned him down last season, ended up on loan at Northampton I think.

So we've established that Lincoln have one of the biggest budgets in the league then.

Apparently between us and FGR to loan Kaiyne Woolery. No idea if he's any good.

Depends how both Kaiyne and his club view his development. He's not the finished article yet, but has shown real progression in a fairly short space of time. If he wants to experience another brand of football and join a bigger club then you may get him. Personally I'd love to see him back, a genuine turn of speed and he cuts the figure of a star player.

FA Cup money. Plus nigh on 6000 season tickets sold.

According to MacAnthony they had a bigger bid from Blackburn but Bostwick didn't want to move his family or travel a long way so they accepted our lower offer.

From Darragh's facebook:

"Wanted to wish both Bossie and Harry all the best in their moves to Lincoln. Both players will do fantastic in their future careers. Special Mention To Michael who has been with us years. A top man who we as a club have a lot of time/respect for and very appreciative for the years of service he has given Peterborough United. This wasnt a financial move for our club transfer wise. Blackburn offered us more money for Bossie then Lincoln did but Michael being the family man he is didn't want to move there & had no interest in talking to them. So we took the decision yesterday when Lincoln approached us and Bossie intimated it was a move good for him and his family geographically as opposed to other offers we accepted from other clubs, that it was right thing to accept the Bid & allow him to move on. The Gaffer and myself feel its the right thing for the club to move on and we will of course be strengthening in the CB position with bids already in place for players to take this one position that has become available in our squad. We are delighted with how this window is taking shape and by the end of it; our fans will be as well. Thanks.

Keep it Posh!

Darragh"

Still almost certainly a new record transfer for us (previously £75,000).

Major chuckle at the rest of the division.

"Mid table at best Lincoln".
Don't get too ahead of yourself kidda.

One swallow doesn't make a summer. Anderson's delivery onto the head of Rhead or Palmer...

Pleased with Anderson, which gives us our four wingers now. Whereas Ginnelly's final ball is questionable but he does the defensive work quite well, Anderson's the opposite. He has absolutely no defensive thoughts whatsoever, which makes Peterborough's thoughts on him being a full back or wing back quite baffling.

Bostwick will no doubt be a high earner. He's the first player we've signed where I think we've properly pushed the boat out and he's a good player to do that for in my opinion. As I said yesterday, I think the Booty deal not going through indicated something had come up, just like last season with Caton/Arnold. That said, they'll be a nagging feeling amongst Imps that he could be replacing Raggett I suppose. I always thought he was a CM, so not so sure.

A decent spine as it stands with Raggett, Woodyard, Bostwick and Green.

Quite happy with the ones we have got in, not just Bostwick and Anderson either. Getting Green, Knott and Jordan Maguire Drew all look real quality to me, that's without the other ones signed and keeping the best of last seasons squad. Still got more signings to come, can we keep hold of Raggett though, that would be the perfect scenario. Certainly gives us a better chance of a play off push, but keeping feet firmly on the ground here.

Bostwick seems a good signing to me, exactly the type of player I thought we might take a look at this summer to be honest. Was also a bit intrigued by Maguire Drew as well, with the obvious Brighton connection we have at the moment I wonder whether Jones was interested at any point.

What with him being a winger (unless I'm mistaken?!) he seems like he would have been perfect for us to try and play in central midfield!!

Lincoln spend the money their from the cup run, gate increase and the new investment from new board members, how dare we!.
100k for Bostwick, not sure on Anderson maybe the same as they turned a 40k bid earlier on.
Two good signings. Soccerbase says Bostwick a midfielder but we'll see wont we?
Scored some cracking goals for both Stevenage and Posh.
Takes penalties so that may solve a problem for us too as we missed quite a few last season.

Winger/no.10 scored a lot of goals last season for Dagenham on loan.

See exactly the type of player our manager has a fetish for it seems and given that I'd assume Jones would have been his coach in the Brighton youth teams i thought we might have had some interest.

Impressive signings that. Bostwick is the signing of the Summer so far for me.
He mostly plays at CB and thats where he's received all his praise... and we signed Mirfin and Diamond, two players equally as good if not better. Definitely not the signing of the summer, but maybe just for the imps.

He'll do well, and thats the sort of signing you need when you come up from the conference. But you need another 5 or 6 similar to have a real good go. Still not a great squad all together.

200K min for Bostwick based on his value of 340K because you just know Barry Fry would walk all over DC, is he worth that?

Paying money for Bostwick? When we were interested in him last season, after we had received the Ajose money, Fry tried to squeeze money out of us for him. Power told him to fuck off.

Quite right, too.

How very dare they try and get money for their player of the season when he had over a year left on his contract?!

Disagree with needing an extra 5/6 players similar. When we came up a couple of years ago we barely added to our squad and still won promotion. Also I believe Lincoln's squad is better than what we had .

Good couple of signings for Lincoln they are, puts them in the mix for a play-off place i'd say now. And also Jorge Grant at Notts.

LINCOLN OFFICALLY GOING FOR IT...

Bostwick is a similar signing to Mirfin and Diamond. However, I think the signing of Bostwick is more important to Lincoln than Mirfin and Diamond to Mansfield because we already had a defence which had proven successful in League Two.

Good on em for getting a signing of this quality.

Bostwick is a really good signing, how likely are the players that are staying likely to make the step up? It's hard to judge from looking at our side last season because we made so many signings. Bogle obviously did very well, Pearson did okay, McKeown struggled and Boyce (I know we signed him but he'd done well in Non League for us previously) was pretty poor. Apart from that we had a pretty new team and on the whole I think we had a decent season.

It'll be interesting to see how Lincolns guys do, Cheltenham had a shite season after waltzing the league and keeping most of that side.

As for us, we've had a decent pre season, it seems Dembele is going to be a gem. Sam Jones is great but we probably need another striker. I'm feeling quietly confident, Slade knows what he's doing in this league.
