Actually scrap that, somebody ITK has informed me it’s £1.2k p/w with a £650 bonus upon 10 appearances and £1k bonus if he gets in team of the year.
I heard it was 50 quid a day and a free pizza on saturday night if he sticks it in the onion bag.

I’m a bit of a social media Luddite. Is there any way to tell when someone starts following someone else on Twitter?

Just click on their profile and then there is a following and followers option so just click on whichever one.

So the ones at the top are the most recent? Is there no actual date as to when someone started following someone else.

I’ve just been on mine and it doesn’t have dates when people started following no.

We’ve signed Nathaniel Knight-Percival

Happy we’ve signed another defender with a bit of football league experience as we needed it, but need to start signing some forwards if we’re going to have any chance this season.

Cracking signing for Colchester, I think the only criticism of Brown is he can look lazy at times, but that's not the case and he'll pop up with a moment of quality out of nowhere. When he's properly on it he's one of the best players in the league, definitely the sort of player you want if you're aiming for promotion.

We, on the other hand, are going down.

I don’t know who people are expecting us to sign. Obviously by your response he’s lost any ability he had, but that’s probably why he’s had to make do with signing for the 92nd most attractive league club to play for

He'll have one good game followed by 10 bad ones. His general reading of the game isn't too bad at all, the problem is when he has to actually make a tackle he seems to lose the ability to control his legs which results in him either giving away needless fouls or missing the ball and the man completely so he resorts to rugby tackling instead. He's also lost all confidence and ability on the ball compared to when he first came, he was nicknamed the Rolls Royce for a reason but now he's an absolute bomb scare in possession.

He wins his fair share of headers and pops in with a few goals a season so hopefully he does enough to keep you up.

Hopefully the fact that was in league 1 means he’ll be much less shit at this level than you described.

I thought i was a pessimist about my club, we share the same pessimism and user name almost.
But i must admit Hello , you make me look like Mr Happy from Happysville with your doom and gloom about Carlisle.
Cue an 11 th place finish and nowhere near relegation.

I seem to remember hellogregory saying very similar last pre season before Carlisle narrowly missed out on the play offs.

Been told that Anthony Grant is joining Scunthorpe for an undisclosed fee from us.

Surprised he's not staying in League 1! Very, very good signing for Scunny that.

Always a player I've rated very highly so would be happy with this. We need a new midfielder to replace the outgoing Funso Ojo.

I think NKP will be a decent signing with Webster at the side of him, he needs a boss at the side of him then he’s decent imo

So the Officially Going For It™ list is currently at...

Bradford
Mansfield
Scunthorpe
Exeter
Plymouth
Northampton
Salford

...there'll probably be a couple of teams not on that list getting into the top 7, so plenty of clubs gonna be having dire financial years it seems. Have I missed anyone? Crawley seem to be spending quite a bit too?

Best midfielder at Vale in the last 10 years along with a fit Michael O'Connor.

Grant is League one easily, great signing.

The closer we get to the season it's looking more and more likely that we are relegation bound.

We were one of the lowest goalscorers in the league and now have lost our three most creative players and are only strikers is a 36 year old who's been past it for a couple years now, and a youngster who has only ever played youth football.

We've signed one player while letting two of our higher earners go, not sure they constitutes as going for it.
