Seen a tweet from our CEO earlier on saying a significant number of tickets either bought by or for Wednesday fans have been cancelled and refunded.

Pretty sure we are now capped at 7100 for away fans by the plod. I actually hope not though as we have the space the more the merrier, and it's not like we are a hotbed of hooliganism. :gr:

That’s top notch to be fair.

For everyone other than us that is one ball ache to get to.

Great tables, Accrington's home average is less than Sunderland and Sheffield Wednesday's away following ! Bet they can't believe they're in the same league

We might jump into second after tomorrow’s game on the home attendances as we’ve got c25k crowd. It’s the third of the Christmas cheap ticket voucher games but was called off at the time.

Could end up being the lowest season in 60 years, yet after Saturday it’ll be 8 consecutive games of over 20k crowds for the first time in around 15 years. When you consider the away attendances will be lower as well, makes it even more impressive for us.

Just one sign of the mess Evans caused and him leaving has regrouped the club!

That's average of home fans not the actual average but fair play to Ipswich for getting it right and getting fans back.

Yeah I know, our ‘actual’ average is 20,784 as we only get 559 away fans on average based on those figures.

There’ll be over 23,500 home fans tonight I reckon.

Our home stats are the worst since our initial drop down the leagues prior to the fans buying the club.

Combination of a mess up not initially selling season tickets, general malaise around the club off the field, covid, and partial closures of stands at short notice / splitting up long established groups of friends and family. The club caught a cold in subsequently selling season tickets in blocks over a several periods of the season. Some fans have just cancelled payments to continue and stopped going after being messed about. Part of the main stand will also be closed for the final few home games which will reduce our capacity even further.

Still think all the night matches have a big effect on the average crowds, Bolton have played Burton, Crewe, Doncaster , Wycombe ,Cambridge, .Charlton. Lincoln and tonight Morecambe all at night, that's 8 in total, far too many, apart from Burton they have all been in the middle of winter and freezing, and kicking off at 8.00 pm also winds me up.

Ill add in a column before end of the season to compare home averages midweek against those on a weekend!

In our conference days we played loads of midweek games, very annoying.

The Xmas home fixtures were both wiped out so at least 2, another bee in my bonnet Why does the season end a week before the Championship ? Games in May with warm weather were great. And it would give another week to fit in rearranged games so we could play them in a civilised temperature in April and not during a hurricane and risking frostbite.

Because its not a normal bank holiday week end at the end of May so our Leagues play off final is a week before the other two divisions.
