100 left for our game at Reading on NYD. Not sure in the end what the full allocation was - abiout 1500 I believe.

Bunch of entitled mard arses.

They're 8th ffs. How do you think Reading fans feel? Yes, they're poor away, but they've got the best home record in the division.

1,516 Reading fans at Cheltenham last night, with at least 6 in the home end (I overheard them chatting in the bar at half-time).

Surprised they didn't bring more, given they took a similar number to our place and its a lot further.
Also surprised at only 5000 Vale fans, I know you're disgruntled but chuffing eck

You’re right it’s largely the culmination of how we’ve mostly been playing. It’s not so much the results it’s just been boring, I expected it tbh. I’ll be fair to Blackpool fans a Friday night just before NYE you can see why. Their fans also looking at their forum have had very similar criticisms of their manager and way of playing to what we have so think that also played into it.

We are hardly scintillating at the moment but still selling out games. I know it was Friday night but that didn't dissuade Pompey fans to do a 5-6 hour round trip, I'm sure they could have doubled their allocation

Blackpool aren’t that big IMO so probably on par with what id expect although thought Barnsley’s following Boxing Day was dreadful considering their position and the day it was. We took more the opening day and 2000 more nearly a similar distance on the Thursday night between Xmas and New Year last season.

Our fan numbers have dropped a bit (had to be said we are one of the clubs which only give actual numbers not tickets sold like a lot of clubs or we’d start at 6500 due to season tickets plus away plus pay of the day.

That said we’ve had 5 home games in 17 days and Boxing Day won’t have whetted the appetite much! Even I sat there last night half arsed about being there (until BG scored).

Ouch. Leyton Orient returning the favour of £10 tickets by charging us £29.
Yeah not great I agree, our owners have decided to charge all the big clubs in this league that. All our midweek games have been £10 tickets.

The only thing I will say is that Bolton charged £28 to Exeters fans, so it’s a thing most clubs do to maximise costs.
