We're a good trip, we just usually hammer you when you visit so I think that's one of the things.
You're right that you normally hammer us. Then again, most teams in this league do.

But Millwall is a shit awayday, IMO. Certainly compared to other London ones.

Surprised MK brought that many considering their usual away followings that im aware of, fairly vocal first half too.

I normally try to avoid these kind of debates at all cost, but personally I think that's a fucking wank following

Why is that BD? Interested to know how many of us there were.
We randomly stopped giving out away followings at some time last season, I have absolutely no idea why. We received a lot of criticism from people on here about it.

Not by our standards it isn't. I'm fairly sure the last time we played Shrewsbury away on opening day we took a few hundred less.

Good following for us.

It's growing year on year. What else did people expect? I think we took about 450-500 last time for that opening day game there in 2013, and if we play there again on opening day in a few years it will have grown by 20% again.

I saw a Walsall fan pipe up with AFC bringing more for one game than we have in five trips. Apart from being absolute guff, it ignores the fact that the supporter bases are very different. We don't have a legion of moneyed semi-retired middle class fans who have that connection with the club. That's to be expected given the circumstances.

I know its the 1st match, but that is still great numbers mate, hats off on this occasion, still find it strange how your numbers fluctuate so much though.

Any sniff that we might have a little success and our away numbers are great. But as you say they don't hold up that well when we're shit. Had we of won yday millwall away in 2 weeks would of sold out but now it will probably be more like 1400 or so

Our away support has always been variable, some have called it fickle ha ha. The Blades hardcore away support is only 1000 but we have a few 1000 floaters who turn up for big matches or when there's a chance of success. If we're top 2 most of the season we'll sell out virtually every away game.

It's a bit like Wednesday's home support. Your hardcore support is basically the same as Uniteds (about 17 to 18K) but you have more home support floaters and when there's a sniff of success can pull impressive home numbers (assuming reasonable admission prices of course).

That's not really a representation of our away support, although not inaccurate for the middle three blocks of our main stand for home games

:) but they're the ones who turn a seven or eight hundred following to Walsall into a thousand. It certainly seemed that way on the train back.

I think 312 is an indication of how many people have become disillusioned with the club.

Strange assumption to make from witnessing a few fans on a train.

End of the day I don't care, 601 is good for US. I know we aren't up to the standards of other teams, but it's higher than we would had taken in the past. UTF.

It might be good for you, it might be more than you've taken before and it might be more in the future,

But, it. Is. Still. Shit.

I couldn't give a fuck what you think if I'm being honest, I don't think any Dons fans do. I said it might not be good to other people but it's good to us. And that's all I care about. UTF.

You must suffer from a lack of imagination when you come to London then. Being so close in, it allows you to drink any where central and be half an hour or so from the ground.

Borough market area is great area for pubs and food. Easy to Millwall from there.
