I like how everyone thinks they're going down this year.

We are definitely going down.

Most people are pessimistic as they fear something they say will come back and bite them in the arse.

They don't want to say "We will win this" in case they don't and they look stupid, they'd rather say that they will lose and act surprised if they win, say they expected it if they lose.

May as well submit a request to the football league for us all to go down and be replaced by the 7 or 8 on league 2.

Not being funny but again, we have scored 2 goals in 9 games and our only goal source is injured...our wingers haven't turned up for weeks and our entire team can't be arsed. We have won 5 home games all season and have just lost 3 away on the bounce...where exactly are we going to get 2 wins from? We aren't. Smith's done a good job, but he's becoming like that 'soft' father figure that cuddles the players after defeats, need someone who is going to motivate us and quickly, or else we are down.

Don't panic lad, one win and everything looks rosy. Still plenty of football to be played yet.

Still so many games between the sides at the bottom, we have Orient and Walsall at home and Coventry away, these will be the crucial games, and anyone can beat anyone, its been that sort of season. In October if you offered me pur position id have bit your hand off.

I think we will get around 52 points, our goal difference is what really worries me with it being so close.

We are down. We have scored 2 in 9 games. Bradshaw is constantly injured or unfit. We have 11 crabs who play the ball sideways. We will never score again, LET ALONE, score enough to earn us another 6 points. Ridicolous.
You only need to squeeze out 5 points from 7 games to probably be safe, I'd still have you safe

I don't think Walsall or Port Vale need to worry.

I think Yeovil and Colchester are gonna go down. Then it will be between Crawley, Orient, Coventry, Notts County, Scunny and Crewe to go down.

Still a lot of football to be played though.

I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't pick up another point this season. Are their 4 teams bad enough to keep us up if we don't get anymore?

Port Vale have had a mid season implosion, when a few weeks ago, it looked like Oldham were going to have one.

Our run in is the hardest, can't see us geting over the line tbh.

When you're in the middle of a bad run it always seems like you'll not win another game but it never works out like that. Look at Scunthorpe today - in free fall, can't buy a win then go and comfortably beat playoff chasing Peterborough. For Port Vale to not get another point this season, they'll have had to lose 11 on the bounce - it's just not going to happen. Similarly with Walsall.

It's just the atitude of the lads at the moment, they don't seem to have the fight anymore. The Scunthorpe and Yeovil games are massive now, need four points minimum for them and possibly a point from Dale or Fleetwood. Can't see it.

Oi we've been proving your theory wrong for about five months now.

Unfortunately it looks like Notts are down. Poor Gary Jones, not the best season for him though I sometimes wish we had him driving our midfield.

We've still got a lot to do, but that was a really big result yesterday and the second half was much better from us. That's seven points from nine now and should have been three wins in a row if it weren't for conceding the silly 96th minute equaliser at Gillingham.

Hopefully there's some belief there now as another result on Monday would set us up nicely for a huge trip to Coventry next weekend.

If we manage to finally win back-to-back games on Monday then I reckon we could get away with two wins, two draws and two defeats from our final six which would sound so doable. Monday is such a big game now.

Its a long shot, if you did that it would be 14 points from your last 8 games which is play off form

Yeovil are down.
Colchester won't have enough imo.
Crawley will drift to their natural level.
Notts will go down on the last day. Which is weird saying, but when I've seen footage from the rest of the season, they're getting the kind of 'luck' that sends you down. Will be shame, enjoy the day out and local match.

Plus Orient, Scunny, Crewe and Coventry have enough about to them to pick up points. Walsall will stay up by the skin of their teeth.

By all means, when the season ends, come back and rub it in my face if i'm wrong. Just how I see it.

In a perfect world, we'd see Yeovil, Crawley, Colchester and Crewe/Orient/Scunny go down - Due to standard of away day/being Southern/being bored of playing Scunny.
