So, the fixtures have been released for the new season. Happy with how your schedule has fallen? Yes, I know everyone has to play each other twice, but nevertheless, I still think some excitement can come from when certain fixtures are.

The Alex finally get a home game on Boxing Day, a Christmas miracle come early. Long midweek away trips to Crawley, Hartlepool and Wycombe are a killer though. All in all, not too bad at all. Thoughts?

We're away for the first game (Portsmouth), last game (Exeter), Boxing Day (Crewe) and New Years Eve (Notts County). It could be a tough start with Pompey, Plymouth and Cambridge all in the first month, though our end to the season looks favourable.

Blackpool away for us as the first game. Hopefully they will still have that losing feeling so we can take advantage

After we start at home to Morecambe we then have two 375 mile round trips to Wycombe and Colchester in 3 days, just like being back in the Conference, nice one! :2thumb:

Start at Home, finish at home (Plymouth) and home for Christmas and NY eve (Accy and Blackpool)! Just a shame Newport, Portsmouth and Colchester are midweek games.

Another long away trip to start our season at Plymouth, 3 seasons in a row now we have had a long trip to start our season, 4 if you count the conference season. Good to get them out the way I guess but was sort of hoping for a home game for once!

Blackpool away on Jan 2nd that'll be a lovely warm weekend away on the beer! County away on 14th of Jan no doubt the plod will change the kick-off time for no reason whatsoever

Crewe on boxing day is a ball ache. The game that's handy for trains on the day when there's no trains.

Like the two home games over Christmas. A tough start, Luton are signing good players, and Notts County and Carlisle won't be easy. End August with Blackpool away, bank holiday weekend, nice one. Only one Tuesday night game in the first half of the season, I can assume that is because of the " EFL Trophy"

Convinced they code it deliberately to give us a long trek on the opening day, as TFCH says that's four seasons on the spin now (Southport away, Carlisle away, Accy away, now Plymouth away).

Also our mid-week away fixtures are a joke. We have three scheduled for the whole season, and what are they? Carlisle away, Hartlepool away, Newport away. That's just ridiculous frankly.

In hindsight, Mansfields are alright.

Home games boxing day and new years eve are helpful, as well as the trip to Blackpool on the 2nd.

For me living in Manchester, games in Crewe, Morecambe and Carlisle are on a Saturday which is a bonus, as are other trips on the train - Donny and Grimsby.

County away in January is a slight shame, but meh, whatever.

A final home game with Portsmouth should be fun, we always have them at home late on! we were also Cheltenhams first ever away game in the league back in 97 (or whenever it was), so history repeating itself there

Start with Crawley away and finish away at Cambridge. Finally Yeovil away is on a saturday rather than a cold Tuesday November evening where i froze my bollocks off last season,it's one of my local games so look forward to this one.

You finish at home to us.

Barnet to start then two relegated sides in the third cufc(Colchester) and donny, slightly disappointed that's on a Tuesday night but never mind.

It's odd that you consider us a long trip. For us janners a trip to London is a good length trip in comparison with most of the country! Normally home by half 10 on the train then perfect timing to head out for the night.

You've drawn us at a good time as we will have an entirely new squad of players and will take time to gel. I'm predicting mid table mediocrity for us next season.
