A quartet of interesting fixtures mainly invoving sides chasing promotion. Rovers have a trip to Devon a tough game given we've gone a bit stale lately and the Gulls have a decent home record against sides battling for promotion. Not confident at all. Forest Green favourites to win at Sutton while the other pair are harder to call. Can the Silkmen put a halt to Gateshead steam-rollering to the play-offs?

Return to the scene of our FA Cup exit. Hoping for a reaction after a flat outing Saturday.
If Gateshead manage a result at Macc you'd have to make them favourites for a play-off spot.

We're unbeaten in 4 since the Arsenal FA Cup match, and generally our home form is good (ignoring the freak occurrence that was Dover). Tonight will be tough, but hopefully we have enough about us to pick up at least a point

Two tough games in different ways for FGR and Tranmere. Both can't afford not to win if this is even going to be a race.

Very interested to see if Tranmere's soft constitution will be exposed again.

The way we're playing at the moment Tranmere might as well save themselves the trip down to the Bay. We'll just post you the 3 points that way it'll save on expenses. As much as it pains me to say, I can't see anything other than yet another home defeat... f*ck, we're just awful.

Not totally sold on this Gateshead run - reeks a bit of when Barrow had their ridiculous streak, it came crashing down spectacularly. Macc are still in the hunt with their games in hand as well, this is a good opportunity for them.

Not sure we'll have enough to stop the Gateshead Go-kart (?) and its surge towards 5th spot, not really got the squad to make any changes but players' minds may well be on Saturday at Tranmere.

Hard to say, thought they looked good beating us rather than us just being shit, which is what I'm mostly going on.

So Arsenal beat Sutton 2-0, and beat Lincoln 5-0. Given Lincoln beat us, that must mean we're on for a hiding tonight going by the Arsenalometer.

We beat Spurs around 10 years ago.
Spurs beat Chelsea this season.
Chelsea won the Champions League a few years back.
Based on that we really should be winning the Champions League within the next few years, seriously underachieving here.

We're going to have to really turn up tonight to have any chance. Sutton are a physical side, Dagenham outmuscled us on Saturday and we can't compete with sides if it's a battle, we've got to play our own game keep it on the deck and move it quickly. And get some fucking crosses in.

Hope KMB is back, better then Woolery imo, who although pacy doesn't quite have enough end product. Would also bring Kelly in for either Carter or Wishart, who were both shite on Saturday. Our left hand side looked weak as piss. Maguire-Drew shat all over them. Deacon will have a field day unless we sort that out.

Rovers start with probably our second choice forward pairing of Stockton and Mangan, with Andy Cook left on the bench. Concentrating on the FA Trophy..?

Feel like tonights the night that our slim playoff hopes die.

That said, I said our season was over 3 months ago so we havent done too badly!

Tranmere have had it - looking forward to reading Belmont's view on the game tonight, as always.
