Another good result for you guys… but what are we sharing? Still top aren’t we!

Seriously though, big game coming up on the 28th.
Joint top. Yes I know your still top. Just nice to be involved. It is indeed a big game. We are grinding results out at the minute. Not fluent by any means tonight. Got the job done.

We're going to have 2 non-Brotherhood teams in Halifax and Boreham Wood going up, aren't we?

I am the SOLE founder and the SOLE administrator of the Brotherhood, I ALONE decide who is in it and who is not. Membership is for all time, no member may leave, no new member may be admitted. As members of the Football League in 1986, the last legitimate Football League season , The Shaymen are full members of The Brotherhood, have been so since inception and will remain so until the end of time, or until the Earth falls into the Sun. Thanks for asking. :ds:

Naa we will fall away. Wrexham said so ;) :D

Well we aren't even half way through the season so we shall see.

Enjoy being joint top, but let's not get carried away hey? We've all been top midway through the season before.

I'm bantering with you all. The emoji's at the end were a bit of a giveaway :bg:

As for everyone having been joint top half way through. We haven't. this is heady heights for us. Anyway we have much tougher tests over Christmas. Be a real test of our metal. Grimsby home and away with Chesterfield away sandwiched in the middle.

The way we’re playing do you really think that will be a test for you?
We’ll probably get something at home but the Boxing Day one at your place is a 100% home banker.

I keep telling myself that Boreham will drop off cos they don’t have the resources/depths but they keep plugging away. Still think it’ll happen eventually.

I think they can stay the course. I still expect Bromley and Halifax to ultimately drop away -unless they are very lucky with injuries over the winter period playing on heavy pitches.

Its crazy how tight it is at the top- it seems like you've been going like a train all season but there still isnt really much of a gap separating the entire top 10. Plenty of twists left in this season.

Except Bromley don’t have a heavy pitch at home. Can they 4G their way to the FL? I expect them to stay the course better than BH. Think Halifax will make playoffs, unless a FL team comes in for Paul Wild at some point

I want to know where people have got the idea we have a small squad?

We have a small squad in comparison to the bigger clubs but you could argue their squads are too big

We currently have 4 players out on loan that can't even get into our match day squad/or building up fitness after long term injuries. 2 strikers 1 winger and a number 10/midfield player.

We also have 2 senior pro's in Woods and Summerfield who are consistently on the bench these days because of the form of Green and young Kian Spence.

We can currently afford 2 injuries in every position and still have options to come in apart from maybe centre back and left back

I expect Newby's loan will be made permanent in Jan aswell.

We will see but our squads not nearly as small as some fans seem to think it is.

You really don't know anything about football do you chuck, if you did you'd know that the FIRST thing you learn as a football fan is that there is NO SUCH THING as 100% banker. But you do know that, you're just getting your excuses in early. The second thing every football fan learns is Grimsby fans are dicks. You knew that too though, dintcha. :bdick:

P.s anyone that's due to play Kings Lynn they were a more than decent team last night. Time will tell if it's a new manager bounce but I was surprised given there position how organised they were and how decent on the ball they were. They were a decent finisher away from taking something last night I think.

Gold Omatayo isn't half a nuisance on those big diags aswell. Even if he couldn't hit a barn door.

They certainly won't be easy beats if that's the new them under a new gaffer

It's probably more that people presume you couldn't cope with injuries to important players rather than actual size of squad. Complete guesswork mind.

Wow, looks like the "idiot" in charge might actually have known what he was doing all along, huh? Newby is going back to Stockport. Challinor rates him, wants him back, isn't daft enough to help a rival out in the run-in, and besides, they'll want a fee as he is under contract and we don't have any money. :ds:

??? Oh please! :ffs: They were very limited in all departments, it was only ever a case of how long it was going to take for us to find our groove.

That's exactly it. It comes from years of reading Halifax fans moaning about their squad lacking depth.

Maybe Halifax are stuffed with absolutely fantastic players and they will win the league at a canter. No-one has ruled that out.

Also...can absorb two Inuries in every position? so you have a squad with a minimum of 33 players not including subs?

Oil Money Halifax...

We have a few versatile players who can cover different positions which helps.

By my reckoning I might miss someone but we have 24 players in the first team squad. 4 of which are out on loan. 2 are on loan to us.

We may not stay the course but we don't have a tiny squad.

Hope he's safe and sound somewhere with Cardsfan. Does Joe the Ebbsfleet fan still post?

Can't believe how much silly money three of the brothers have spent and they are still going to let Boreham wood, Halifax and Bromley finish top 3.

Bloody sort it.

I wouldn’t worry. January is a magical month for us where our cavalry of 39 injured stars return to the squad. We will win it at a canter from then on.
