We always lose at home to Eastleigh so by 5pm we'll only be a point clear of Tranmere who have 2 games in hand. Think we can now be ruled out of the fight for 3rd

Torquay have scheduled a 12:30 pitch inspection. Most of our fans will be well on their way by then. Probably be called off at around 1pm.

Given the A303 you would need to leave around now, 12:30 inspection wont help anyone really. May as well leave it until 10 mins before kickoff

Yeah exactly. I would have left at around 10:30/11 if I was going but don’t fancy risking a wasted journey.

Long journey for a Tuesday night game as well if rearranged.

You’ll win today 1-0 with a late pen.

No snow just honking it down with rain on and off and it's expected to last until midnight tonight, there was no inspection planned as of 9:00am but it might be subject to change as the pitch is wet surprise surprise, been a few years since we had a postponement because of the rain, think it was like 2015.

Love a rainy game, we got this one on back in the day when we were actually a half decent side.

Our game is on pending a further pitch inspection 11.30. We could just announce a 1 v 1 draw and save everyone the trouble. Seriously we have to keep winning our home games. .get the match on and 3points no matter how scrappy and ugly the performance is. 1 nil win will do fine

Great goal! Thanks for the info, I think I'll hang on until noon before leaving just in case. The snow is forcast to head North.

Not great really. He has recently been dropped for the returning Ben Tolliitt and was not even on the bench last week.

He seems a tidy player but is reluctant to take on the full back and has not got much end product.
Seems about right. He's out of contract at Burnley this summer, I think.

Wrexham v Boreham Wood. If there was ever a game suited to being played in a mud bath it would be this one. War of attrition that Wrexham will win 2-2.

Overheard him at a restaurant when he first joined saying he didn’t want to play non league again.

On the evidence of what I’ve seen of him he’s right, he’ll be lucky to get a job at somewhere like Guiseley.

Very late postponement at Orient. Surely the inspection could have been called earlier?

Game off. Ball rolls but won’t bounce in one corner and the ref has called it. Fucks sake. Tinpot mugs.

Not that it’s far for away fans to travel (or that there are any Maidenhead on this board), but our pitch covers have been down since Thursday so there’s virtually zero chance of the game being off.
Oh this post has cheered me up so so much. :woo:

I'm not sure if our game will be on - but if it is, I can guarantee one thing, we will not hammer Chester. We just don't do many goals. We simply aren't clinical enough.

I notice that a lot of our fans (and some fans of other teams) seem to think we've won the league. I completely disagree. The two last minute winners in the last two games have been crucial and morale boosting. However, I think we needed 7-9 points out of Gateshead, Woking and Chester to keep us on track because we have some difficult games coming up - particularly Ebbsfleet and Boreham Wood away. We've got 6 and will hopefully beat Chester, but this is going right down to the wire. I think we might have to win 4 out of the final 6 games to win the league - Sutton are a good team and won't drop many points.
I hope our lot of underachieving no marks don't upset the MaccMachine. You can do it. Just believe! Sutton aren't that great. They only beat us 3-2, which is a win for us.

A shame, but our quagmire of a pitch has caught up with us. The ball didn't bounce in one of the corners and both managers were present at the time of the inspection and both agreed to call it off.

It probably got this far as Maidenhead are fairly local, but in truth this should've been called off this morning. Supporters have been working since lunchtime to get this on as well.

Should have 3G etc etc

Maidenhead players in our bar think it’s playable.

We've been down since December so don't get too excited.

Just seen the latest prediction table and for the first time you guys are in and Solihull are out. What's gone wrong? You were like Brazil at ours.

Exactly. Why didn't they call this off at 9am. 'look at the forecast', 'think of the travelling fans', 'must be they have loads of injuries' etc etc
Or why didn’t they follow Tranmere’s excellent lead for timely postponements?!
