West Ham taking no chances then, I actually respect it when a PL team just puts out an incredibly strong team in order to batter a tinpotter.

Go on Kiddy though, hope they give a good account.

I’d be surprised if we stuck someone on him specifically, not really our style. I’ll be interested to see if you play 4-4-2/4-4-1-1, think you normally do but teams very rarely do it against us because you’re basically sacrificing the ball completely being that outnumbered in midfield against us.
Yeah generally we have but we've also dabbled in wing backs and more traditional 4-3-3 at times but the 4-4-2 is often a bit of a weird lopsided one with Harry Clifton on the left doubling up as 3rd CM when needed with McAtee then moving over to the left. That's kind of what I was insinuating about wanting to see Clifton actually deployed as a CM and having two natural wide players but I also feel like 4-4-2 vs you lot might be a bit too basic.

Yeah I don’t think we’ll go man to man or anything, Palmer definitely sat deeper at least one game this season to patrol that area of the pitch, can’t remember who against. I’d like to see Vincent restored to the starting XI today too.

Let us know your thoughts on the line up at 2pm, Cods.

They fielded their first team for our 3rd round game last season, we played amazingly well and matched them until the last 5 minutes.

Other people might remember it for another moment, of course

This Diop wouldn't get in our backline playing like this. Shambles of a player.

Our decision that Vincent is the man getting dropped to shoehorn Brunt in is ridiculous, he’s been our best player since he got in the team.

Hopefully they can hold on now though, and get a lucrative replay.

EDiT: do they get replays this season?

Further Edit: They don't. Gutted!
No just extra time.

Vincent on the bench for Brunt. Despite being the best midfielder in the side since he came in to the team. Brunt has got to produce something today.

Gone a bit more solid in midfield today, see how that goes with our dreadful back line. Sign someone called Brandon Comley, midfielder starts on bench. No place for Sagaf as per last few weeks, that’s him off in the summer then.
