FFS 1-0 down after a minute, we've had a penalty saved. We're going down aren't we?

National League justice at Meadow Lane. Absolutely bizarre penalty decision.

Mystery pen for Grimsby that didn’t even look in the area… missed by Taylor.

It was in the area I think, the biggest issue was that Cameron just headed it away. Mental decision.

Sometimes penalty decisions are so bad you just know they’re going to miss. That was utterly outrageous.

Good guy Taylor giving an easy save because he knew it wasn't a pen.

Should be 3 or 4 up here, which is very worrying.

Our Twitter must be really biased then as it makes it sound like we should be well ahead.

It’s just a mental game, complete end-to-end chaos. You’ve been all over us last ten or so but we’d missed several chances to go two or three ahead before that. Think we’re a bit lucky to be in front, level at half time would probably be fair. Everyone getting their money’s worth.

Should have gone 2 up moments before we conceded a pen, half time 1-1.

Yeah it’s those last load of tweets that are really frustrating, missed pen, then Taylor misses sitter, then last ditch tackle on McAtee as he’s about to score and then we hit the bar.
Unfortunately though it’s the same sort of stuff every away game for us.

My second half prediction is that we equalise and suddenly have all the momentum, before a defensive mistake gifts Notts the winner.

We're good at having a lot of possession and creating chances. We're very bad at actually converting any of those chances. Think we're something like 3rd in the league for chances created, but only 12th in goals scored.

We're also quite good at being solid at the back, and then making one defensive fuck-up per game which the other team inevitably scores from. Sometimes we get away with it (Wealdstone last week), most other times we don't (losing 1-0 at Halifax after giving away a daft penalty, forgetting how to defend set pieces and losing 1-0 to late goals from them against you lot and Chesterfield).

Couldn't have been more spot on with this based on the first half. We are absolutely WANK at converting guilt edged chances. Ryan Taylor is just a ginger LJL, really hasn't been pulling his weight for months now, yet starts every game because Hurst never signed any competition for him.

Classic your team Twitter - in the middle of those Rodrigues headed an absolute sitter wide from six yards and Roberts missed a one on one when he could’ve squared for a tap in.

It’s peak Burchnall ball really. We could equally be 4-0 up or 3-1 down.

Games are irrelevant.

Haha I see what you mean, I’ve just read back through and after your goal our Twitter doesn’t mention any more Notts chances whatsoever.
