Absolutely inevitable that we'll give Guiseley their first win on Saturday, like we did with Kidderminster last season.

There's some other games too, surprisingly.
Chester are at Aldershot as Gary Waddock continues to attempt to be the cringiest person alive.
Barrow host Boreham Wood :dk:
Braintree v Gateshead
Bromleeee v Danny Whitaker
Dovah v The Coops Super XI - AND IT'S LIVE
Eastleigh take on mangerless Southport - please come back Burry.
North Ferribeh v Maidstone
Solihull Motors v John Control The Controllables I Won The League With Luton Still
Torquay Balancing On The Edge Of Oblivion United v Yawk
Tranmere v Champions Lincoln after beating North Ferribeh 15-1
Wrexhum v Suton

Looking forward to Solihull. £7 return from London so we should have a few Daggers making the trip. Fancy us to get back to winning ways.

Deary me. Standards have clearly slipped.

Would take a point. I dare say I think a healthy number of Tranmere fans would also accept this.

TOTAL FOOTBALLING TITLE ROMP CONTINUES.

I'm sure everyone will tune into BT Sport @ 12pm to watch the beautiful game as it was meant to be played. Really show up all the cloggers that have been on so far. Can't wait.

This forum is dead now anyway, isn't it? Even the moderators can't be bothered anymore.

We still get people, not necessarily on here btw, who still think it's a good forum!

Is that one of they "bullish" posts? Despite us not being as shit on the telly as some of our supporters reckon I have a feeling we might have to scrap in this one. Bigger issue is will I make it out of bed at five in the morning to catch the coach?

Home to Harrogate Town on Saturday aka the Alfreton 2015/16 XI. Heavy defeat. Next..

Tuesday night away at Boston ( which could and should be a battle of who wants the boot first) is much more important.

We beat Dover away on telly last season, and we're a better side now (some would say the Barcelona of the National league) then we were then, plus they've lost Raggett, Deverdics and Payne. We're strong favourites.

BULLISH? never. Just realistic. We were HEAD AND SHOULDERS above everyone else left here from last season, and we've got better.

Midfield is the key area for any team, and just look at our midfield now Kelly's fit. Him, Noble, Traore, Carter, Chemlal, Frear, KMB and Robert would all walk into most league 2 sides. Unbelievably good. And we've still got Sincs and Wedg to come back, and Pinnock who's one of the best young talents in the league who can play in there too.

Def agree we've improved and Dover have lost some good players. Went to Crabble for the play-off away leg, would settle for a repeat.

This is exactly the sort of game the Cowley's will thrive on. Both Danny and Nicky will have done a great deal of homework on Tranmere and if there's anyone they can tactically outwit, it's Gary Brabin.

Saying all that, I'd be more than happy with a draw.

Tranmere v Lincoln = clash of the also rans/second place 6 pointer.

Both will be cracking under the pressure of our force soon enough. Can see both sides managerless by Christmas.

I'd take a draw going into the Solihull game on Tuesday.

Our record against ex-league clubs (not Phoenix clubs formed from the ashes of ex-league clubs) is exceptional with all 4 of our wins coming from our 4 meetings with ex-league clubs. Watch us lose on Saturday now....

You know yourself that that's a pretty futile attempt, even by your standards. The Cowleys status here is pretty much near "Gods on Earth" after the drivel we've suffered the past decade.

More arrogance from that little club in the middle of nowhere, with no fans and very strange glow in the dark strip. And they wonder why the rest of this league hates them. I can`t wait for it all to come crashing down around your ears when The Tree Hugger decides he has had enough of propping up FC Zero Support of Gloucestershire to the tune of Millions of quid a year or, even better, when the FA start to impose FPP on the National League and you lot get relegated for breaking the rules for the last 3 seasons. Oh how I will laugh. And as for your later post going on about cloggers !!! Coming from a fan of the team who came to our place last season with the sole intention of hospitalising our entire first 11 ( and all 3 subs as well) I find that side splittingly funny. I will be watching with great interest on Saturday before going to watch our game at a proper stadium with an actual crowd in attendance hoping, of course, that Dover, as much as I dislike them after their play acting at Prenton Park last season, turn you over.

Having said all that I hope you are right about us needing a new manager by Christmas but as to being managerless I doubt that. There would be plenty of takers for the Boss`s office at Prenton Park

Aldershot don't have much to worry about, our away form is desperate. No wins this season, only 3 from our last 23 or my personal favourite of 1 win on a Saturday afternoon in just over 12 months.

How do people STILL bite at Chris FGR?

Despite your "proper stadium" and the fact that you were once OK at football ("where's yer fohhckin 'istreee mahte?"), you're currently in the same league as North Ferriby and Boreham Wood just like the rest of us.

I am too well aware of that fact believe me but hopefully not for much longer..if we get rid of Brabin that is.

The game will be won, or more likely in our case lost in the classroom. If CK decides as is very likely that Lafayette will continue as the lone striker and Miller as a winger I can see a 2,3-0 defeat coming our way as Racine and Clough will have a very comfortable afternoon battling with the former for ninety minutes. If however, he puts two up front (about as likely as Andy Carroll winning this years Ballon D'Or ) or hopefully plays Miller through the middle and we give him the ball on the floor he will run at those two or afternoon, and we could then easily get a draw and or even nick it by the odd goal. I guarantee as we are told he made not one but two summer offers in for him, Cooper will be delighted if our danger man spends half the game chasing your wingers and full backs all over the Crabble pitch.
It will also be interesting to see Moore making his home debut, he did alright last week, but I for one am hoping he shows a bit more than that on Saturday, we will need it that's for sure.
The other two considerations if your midfield and forwards do show the kind of movement that you have been suggesting (and why you will no doubt score 139 goals this season) then you could draw our back five and with it our absurd man marking to pieces and that's an even bigger worry.
Lastly we have Arnold. The jury seems to be currently split 60/40 in his favour at the moment, and he has made some great saves, but equally has let in a couple of real softies, maybe he will have one of those inspired afternoons, as so often happens when they play against their old club. Should be interesting that's for sure

A league you have never been higher then!!

We will be soon though. The club is being set up off the pitch to get to the Championship asap, and then maybe push on again.

Long trip up to Ferriby then, a game we should be winning but... is the kind of game we'll lose. I'll be positive though and go for 2-1 Stones.

Cannot believe that Chris has got these Tranmere fans hook line and sinker....

If there was ever a time for us for the Cowleys to pull one of their classic Braintree counter-attack away performances out, this weekend is probably the time.

Gosh, there is a' like' button on this forum but it would be fabulous also to have a 'dislike' button as well.
There has been more than a few OTT posts by more than a few posters.
