I think he is a decent poster myself. You on the other hand..
I don't revert to name calling Lord of the Sith, don't run to the mods and don't reply to comments saying I represent the beliefs of the rest of the forum. It must be a Grimsby thing :) .

Well yeah I would guess the majority of people on here have the same opinion of you as I have.
Including most of the decent Chesterfield posters on here.
Also good to see the racist post about our top striker has been removed from the fishy forum. Not going to repeat what was said obviously . Hope the racist that wrote it gets his just do. To put I can't spell in brackets then call him what he did FFS. Oh by the way I understand you're not all racist. It was the 2nd post on "just Back" thread.

If you lads used the ignore button then there wouldn't be anything to argue with
They won't do that, they actually love the banter. Come on , we all love it when we're doing well but get the arse on when its not.
It's not personal and I know I can be a wind up merchant . It's banter. I don't wish I'll on anyone. But we've had it from the sad fecks , furlough FC , cheats etc etc. Just I don't run to the mods grassing. I'll leave that with Grimsby .

Love him. Versatile battler who runs for fun and isn't short of a bit of skill. Reminds me of Jack Hunt somehow.
Proper player is Alex Whittle, would do a job LWB, LB, LCB, RB, RWB and probably left of midfield if he had to. Deserves to keep his place when others return from injury.

He'd dress up as Chester the field mouse if Rowe asked him to and he'd 100% put the current guy out of work. Proper worker

I'll hold my hands up and say i wasn't sold on him last season, thought he played it too safe and often slowed down play when in attacking areas. Fair play to him though, since he's come into the team, he hasn't put a foot wrong.

I would say I my preferred wing-backs would be King & Miller when everyone is available but it's no bad thing Whittle is there to keep them on their toes.

Agreed I thought he was a bit naff, he improved himself almost beyond recognition after being dropped from the squad early season. His fitness is off the charts

This Son of Cod seems to have grief with a lot of people's opinions on here. Certainly the wrong place to be if you can't handle the banter. I wonder if he gets the arse on when the opposition crowd start singing. Think we've got a bit of a whopper with this one.
I have a problem with people's opinion when it's just unoriginal tripe. "Smell of fish mate LOL." Boring as fuck. Curious about whether or not you thought you were being genuinely witty when you were hitting post on half the things you've been saying over the last 24 hours or so?
What’s funny about him is he has a massive inferiority complex about us, really bitter and obviously jealous and yet last time we were down here he was wanking himself silly over our away support when we played at the Shay.
As internet trolls go he is a seriously fucked up one.
Haha, forgot about that. "What's it like to see a crowd?" Well in the case of B2TF he posts a picture of it on a forum and changes his pants. Bet he still talks about it to his mate IRL.
I was there, and thought both sides defences were outstanding on the day, in particular for us Jamie Grimes… the guy is playing like a man possessed atm, I’ve never seen him lose a header. I can honestly only remember 2 chances for both sides all game. I think Clifton should have atleast hit the target with his header, but it wasn’t as bad a miss as some have suggested. Your keeper also made a great save from Kellerman first half which I was sure was going to find the bottom corner!

Our goal came from Pearson losing his first header of the game to Kerr, with the ball then falling into the path of the one man we all wanted it to, and what a finish. He had one of his poorer games yesterday Tshimanga, but your 3 man defence marshalled him well which you’d expect when it’s 3 v 1 and most of the balls up to him were in the air due to the nature of the game. But one of his biggest strengths is patience, even in a game where he’s not getting a sniff for the majority, he never loses his head and he keeps getting in the right position. He’s outstanding, I struggle to see any other forward in this league or the one above that are as good at what he does!

Got to give a shout out to our away support aswell, outstanding from start to finish. Didn’t hear a peep from Grimsby fans but that’s probably because I was deafened by our own support, what a day!!

Stand out players for Grimsby IMO, Pearson and Efete who I thought did as he could against whittle and miller who kept doubling up on him. Could be one of the strongest blokes I’ve ever seen aswell, tshimanga absolute bounced off him when he went shoulder to shoulder at one point!
Cheers, that definitely marries up with what our commentary was saying. Are you talking about Efete when you mention strength there? He's been our best player over the last month or so by a mile. Would like to see him utilised in a more attacking role personally as we have Ryan Sears and RB who also seems like a very competent full back at this level.

Crowd noise wise, it sounded fairly flat on the radio. I don't think the mics pick up the away end that well to be honest, as it sounded like mainly like home support that were the loudest which definitely isn't the case as often as we'd hope.

Always having a go at people arent you Son Of Cod? BT2F does not deserve your vitriol. You lot always stir it then go running to the mods. Plus you never criticise your own fans for causing trouble. Poor Denzel was battered yesterday outside the ground. We need to stick together in these times

I genuinely don't have an issue with you or anyone else on here. I'm not going to scroll back on threads to post some of the shite you've posted on here. In all honesty I don't care.
It's banter, end of, I don't know you , I don't post shit about your mother , sister or call you a nonce ( I've seen it posted about others by others) no need in my opinion. I know I can be a wind up merchant , it is only banter.
If I've offended you, you're family , friends it was only ever banter.

Yeah I was talking about that Efete, proper unit. His crossing was a little bit off but he seemed a strong runner with the ball so would probably do a job higher up like you were saying

I think we generally overestimate how attractive managers in this league are to ‘bigger’ clubs. Happy to be proved wrong in Rowe’s case though.
Pete Wild is the only manager they should be interested in, he's had the same to work with as Billy Heath and Jamie Fullerton and has turned the relegation fodder he inherited from them into what is already a side that will prosper in the Football League next season. :ds:

There is a pattern if you notice, I only name call trolls who are ruining the forum for everybody else.
We know you meant well chuck but you've made yourself the bigger part of the problem. Congratulations, well done you. :ffs::fl:

Football and banter go toe in toe. There's an ignore option available. Has some poor soul complained to you. I can give them a name of a good therapist if the internet is hurting them, remember it is winter and there's going to be a few snowflakes this time of year.

No. I made a decision myself based on the tediousness of the content.

If you want 'banter', go and find a rubbish 'banter' page somewhere else like the 'National League banter page' on facebook or whatever the equivalent is. 1FF has always been a decent place to post for Non-League content and it shall stay that way. I haven't had to use a mod button probably in about a year. Too much rubbish today though and it puts decent posters off of commenting on the weekend's action.

He deffo doesn’t run at players, but he works his socks off and always gives an 8/10 performance. Miller and King for games against teams we will run ragged, Whittle and Carline for games where we need to be more solid.

Yet , you've not banned the one person on here calling another member a nonce. If there are rules to be followed as a moderator you should be doing your job and not just singling out the posts you personally don't like

I’ve found the post in question. However, just to be clear, I only moderate the Non League forum. I hadn’t seen that post as it was in the League 2 area.
It’s nothing to do with personal preference. If a post is offensive or is simply made for baiting only, then it has no place here. However, I do have a life and don’t spend every moment on here so use the report option if there are particular posts that have offended you as I may miss them. Then I can delete them when I come on if necessary.

You'd make a good politician
