we still have Solihull, Guiseley and Torquay to come to us, if we can't beat these we deserve to go down.

And us. Pretty sure we’ll do a fellow Brotherhood club a solid.

The top 7 finally looks locked in now after Fylde lost their millionth game of the season.

We need to get a goal scorer in.

In today's programme, Fondop Talom stated that he hopes to play Championship or even Premier League football. That miss first half made him look like Guiseley have sent him to us as a mole to instigate our demise. Didn't help that Kosylo couldn't pass water today either and Tommo reverted to his Billy Heath vanishing act days.

Thought first half hour we were in total control ..after that it was more even. Maidstone should have scored twice with 2 clear chances in 2nd half. Keeper kept them in it first half yet in the end could have won.. thought we has a decent pen shout for foul on Jennings. .couldn't really see what happened with the free kick we scored from. Deserved win based on first half performance
I was chatting to some of your fans post match and we all agreed it should have either been a fair tackle or a Penalty, definitely not a free kick. Looked more like a fair tackle to me.

Fylde were crap, how have they been putting 5+ past teams this season? The only 5 they got today was yellow cards the dirty northern. Dominted them with a side that 3 months ago would have been our reserves.

I did warn you about Fondop. You should have seen his miss at Accrington in the cup, middle of the goal, eighteen inches from the goal line eighteen inches off the ground and he put it over the bar.

Couldn't believe he missed that. Had an opportunity to square to a team mate as well.
First time I've been to the Shay - Great ground, would be nice to see you back in the FL in the future and see that terrace behind the goal full.

Alan Alger was on to something you know, this league is absolutely terrible.

Regarding today, forget us, we're a basket case. Sutton top though. :bl::bl::bl:

Thought ref was OK in the first half but was a total arse in the second. .set the tone with his fussiness over the kicoming off... insisting it be retaken twice due to a players toe being over the line. Then had the whistle constantly in his mouth, making it all about him... thought 1st half was pretty decent, but the second half wasn't allowed to flow.

Not sure how long Limbrick has their to be honest, he spent the whole game arguing with the officials and his own players, who at times didn't look like they were playing for him.............

Believe it or not, Garry Hill was replaced by Limbrick on a three-year contract.

In fairness, it will be pretty funny when Guiseley, of all teams, send us down next month.

One of your guys put the ball over from even closer in secund half.

The one on one chances are the hardest to put away, I always think. The further you have carry the ball, the more time the brain has to think about what you're going to do, and seize up with an overload of processing. He was very unlucky not to score near the end with a great touch to take himself into the box and a shot that was only stopped by the keeper bravely putting his face in the way. I think he's a good footballer and will sign for us in the summer. :ds:

Saw Guiseley at Bromley a few weeks back, looked twice the team Woking did. Quite liked Jones when I've seen him before, but he had one of the worst performances I've seen from a footballer at this level.

Summed up perfectly by a post on our forum. An ABSOLUTE raffle.

JOEY JONES
Has won an absolute raffle at being a professional footballer. Give it up son, he’s fucking shit.
If he fucks off, we’ve got a chance at surviving.

He got a few things wrong in the first half too, most notably pulling Quigley up for outmuscling their defender which left him through on goal. We had 2 stone wall penalty shouts turned down in the 2nd half. Luckily for us, one was given as a free kick instead which we scored from. It wasn't even the referee who gave the foul, but the linesman. The referee was the one who decided it wasn't a penalty despite it being clearly inside the box.

I'll let this board decide that one for themselves...

Looks like a free kick to the keeper to me, Quigley clearly coming down on the keepers foot.

Never forget the refereeing debacle that took place in the game at their place too.

Fylde only tonk good teams. The better you play, the more you concede. If you beat Fylde, that must mean you're really shit...

*got gifted 3 pts by the ref.

We should have had a penalty, they counter attack and get one. Peak national league reffing.
The Dover penalty was the right decision one of those things where Sutton tried to get the ball but did the man instead. Can’t recall the penalty we didn’t get in this one?

If we face Dover in the play-offs, I’d have little confidence of making any progress.

We need to get a goal scorer in. Neil Aspin ALWAYS made sure we started every season with at least one proper goal scorer on the books.

Today's result means that in their 3 matches at The Shay, Solihull have neither scored nor conceded a goal.

It's time now to stop the pretence and acknowledge that the current bottom 3 are going down and will be joined by one of Solihull, Woking or Hartlepool. :bdick:

That's a fair assessment. I believe we've been relegated since Christmas when we took 1 point from 2 games against the team that did something 2 seasons ago.

Sam Allison was the abysmal ref in our away game at maidstone earlier in the season, in which he sent off manny incorrectly, and then Carra for informing him of the rule change.
Has the guy ever put in a decent performance yet. I see he was ref at Sutton v chester yesterday. The ref at our game was managing to piss off both sets of players and fans simultaneously. ..which takes some doing.

Refereed us twice, at home to Bromley last season and at home to Guiseley this season. Both times I was impressed as he let the game flow and you didnt notice him. Probably helped that we won both games 4-0 and 6-0 respectively. Shame he hasn't refereed us since really.

Indeed, but I’m not sure why you’re discounting Barrow - they haven’t won at home since October and their run-in is middling. Having games in hand is no use if you can’t win, as Billericay are finding out :bg:
And Rochdale. But Barrow have won a few games away recently (vs Maidenhead, Maidstone), and for many that they haven't they've drawn. While Woking are losing most of their games by margins of 2 or 3, and have dropped like a stone through the league.

Solihull I think are good enough at this stage to stay up and with Craig Harrison gone Hartlepool seem to have improved so provided that their takeover succeeds and they don't go under administration I think they should be fine as well.

Now that you've predicted all that, I'm backing Woking for the play offs #stilltime
