To be fair not even me, as a Chester fan, will knock them. You weren't kicking off at 12.15pm, you weren't on TV and you weren't struggling in the bottom half of the league as the second lowest scorers in the league, with just the village off the Humber Bridge who play on an allotment languishing behind you.

Solihull is south of Brum so not in the Black Country but they have a similar accent with one or two subtle differences.

There were Aldershot supporters behind me going through 'turnstile 4'. Some of our supporters went to the actual away turnstile only to find it locked, so they missed the start of the game and were let in for free. There were at least 70 of us.

Dunno if it's still the case but about three hours before kick off you could just wander freely into Aldershot's ground which could provide opportunity aplenty if carrying a can of red aerosol paint.

Yes, Solihull is certainly not in the Black Country. That mostly consists of the boroughs of Sandwell, Dudley, Wolverhampton and Walsall. Birmingham and Solihull are not part of the Black Country.

Actually we FGR fans are not obsessed with away numbers because we know full well that ours are on the low side.
But to be honest does it matter?
It seems clubs with greater numbers of home and away supporters are more obsessed than us.
Okay Tom FGR did regrettably bite back with reference to the Cheltenham game.
FGR's home attendance figures are increasing which is more important than how many bums on seats does FGR supporters supply at other clubs.
