I think they said 565 Chester at Bootham Crescent today. Fair play, that's excellent support.

There was also a fifty seater coach that was cancelled last minute as the drivers mrs' had gone in to labour. Crazy we had more at York than we did at Wrexham.

Not quite. It wasn't an official coach so might have had there own driver or too short a notice for the coach company to get another driver, was cancelled not long before they left.

Speaking of coaches, we're taking TWO to our FA Cup game at Stockport.

Only because you're giving out free tickets with a coach ticket ;) #EastleighMkII

Incorrect. Apparently visiting clubs receive a number of FREE tickets in the FA Cup first round. There was only 30 given too.

Yeh,surprisingly good.Shame they get such poor home turnouts.
But then again the Deva is hardly an enticing venue.
And they have to cross the border to get there. Not good.

New ground for a lot, 7 unbeaten going in to it and a weekend stay for many so wouldn't say it was surprising, although it was a decent turnout. But you are right about our home crowds, all well and good taking decent numbers away but it doesn't benefit the club at all. We'll probably take near enough our average gate to Tranmere in a few weeks

Yeh,the sooner you sort yourselves out with a decent ground within Chester the better.

Don't think you'll have a problem beating Wrexham's showing this season, although to be fair to them, they're having an awful season. Fingers crossed the Tranmere v Chester game will be like last year - decent crowd, beer, hog roast, friendly outside the ground but an edgy atmosphere inside... and a 2-0 home win ;)

Cheshire Police and NWP could learn a lot from their Merseyside counterparts. How Cheshire Police thought that a 12 o clock, Sunday, all ticket fixture was justified after Merseyside Police showed that the fixture was able to pass relatively trouble free, with a bigger away following and a much bigger crowd, played at 3 o clock on a Saturday, I'll never know.

We're a much better team now than the one you faced last season so hopefully we'll come away with a better result this time!

Since that game, there have been hints that Merseyside Police are moving to a more 'pro-active' style when policing out games. Hopefully they won't ruin it, a la the ongoing Chester v Wrexham bubble debacle. Fingers crossed.

393 at Curzon v Chorley tonight. That'd indicate roughly 150 Chorley?

Decent numbers pro rata.
Would certainly suggest an infiltration of the home end was a possibility with maybe,if tactics are deployed well,a full take.

The fixture secretary does not like FGR. Last season our local derby game against Cheltenham was mid-week and this season against Solihull, our only close opponents, we have another mid-week game.
Don't know how many will turn up tonight but we have full coach booked and confirmations that many will be travelling to game by car. Could probably have had treble that number if it had been Saturday game.

Considering the game would have been unsegregated I'm sure they'd have done that upon entering the stadium.

Al little on the high side. I would guess-estimate just over a 100.
If I'm completely honest, if there was 467 against York, I doubt there was 393 last night.

Yes, all through the same turnstile, end changing at half time and shared bar......as it should be.

It's just excuse after excuse with you guys isn't it. For the record, REAL football clubs don't need excuses, the fans just turn up, no matter what. We took over 500 midweek to Stockport and Salford, so I guess there'syour benchmark if you have any pretensions at all to being a real football club. Go on, stop making excuses, just do it. :£:£:£

Now Gone.

Forum nazis strike again. Why are people getting banned for a bit of banter?

I got banned a while back for doing fuck all, and can't see anything posted bad enough for this lad to get banned either, especally when nothing is ever done about BT2F.
