That time again, predict how your team gets on in the forthcoming month.

Notts vs Bristol Rovers (F.A Cup) - Draw, should be a cracking game tbh and will good to see how Notts fair against the bigger teams. Our brilliant home form under Nolan will be tested against a very decent Bristol Rovers team who seem settled in League 1. We'll probably lose the replay.

Stevenage (Away) - Win, take on a team in poor form and we generally do quite well at Stevenage, with players coming back from injury I'd be disappointed if Notts didn't get an away win.

Cheltenham (Home) - Draw, Cheltenham are a tricky team and have put in some good performances in October, can see this being a tough, ground out draw.

Yeovil (Away) - Loss, long tuesday night trip to the middle of Somerset, think Notts might struggle here.

Colchester Home) Win, generally do well against Colchester, a win here would keep Notts within touching distance.

7/12 wouldn't be too bad, not too dissimilar to our October run.

Rotherham (FA Cup) H - Loss. Yeah, they'll have too much for us in all likelyhood, although we do better when the pressure is off. Anything we get from this is a bonus.

Port Vale (Checkatrade) A - Loss. Who cares. We're already out, so I hope we play the reserves so as to avoid any injuries/suspensions from being picked up. Far bigger game the following Saturday to worry about.

Lincoln City H - Draw. Not sure why I think we'll draw this, given we've not drawn since game 2 and we don't draw at all anymore. But think this one might end in a 0-0/1-1, which I'd gladly take.

Forest Green A - Loss. First of 2 relegation 6 pointers, think they'll have too much for us in this one, we can't get anything away from home at the moment.

Morecambe A - Draw. Another we badly need to win, but I'd be happy with a draw given our away form.

Luton H - Loss. They're on a roll and will have way too much quality for our hapless bunch. Berry and Hylton to take the piss, could get ugly this one.

So yeah, can see the losses piling up at the moment. Probably the month in which Artell either saves his job or confirms his demise.

Not the easiest of months and you'd hope that with two weeks until our next league game, we'll be able to sort our attacking play out a bit.

Could be the month that makes or breaks our season -

Vs Cambridge away (10th)
Vs Newport home (8th)
Vs Wycombe home (7th)
Vs Exeter away (4th)

If we can pick up 6 points across those games would be delighted, 4 would probably be acceptable. Most likely would be against Cambridge and Wycombe (tough trip for them on a Tuesday night)

Sutton FA CUP (H) - DRAW We really should be beating a part time(?) side at home but it's the FA cup so the underdogs will be up for it. Hold on, in this case we are the underdogs according to our chairman :conf:
Accrington (H) - DRAW A toughie this one, and I think Accy have got a better away v home record. Could go either way. Shame we no longer have Willy in goal, just in case they get another couple of pens.
Luton (A) - LOSS Easy game for Derry, tactically and formation wise, in fact he's already made up his mind. Sadly, his 'bore your opponents to death' away day tactic will not work down at The Kenny. A 3-0 loss with Berry grabbing a brace (one from the penalty spot the cheeky fucker :shut:)
Cheltenham (A) - DRAW Derry will think to himself that while his away day tactics didn't work at the Kenny, Cheltenham deffo aren't Luton, so why not, like, give it another go? Like, what's to lose? Hell, if he's lucky we could also get 3 points instead of 1, courtesy of an undeserved 89th min winner!
Stevenage (H) - WIN ''Destiny will always overcome'' and Boro haven't won a L2 game at the Abbey since we came back (ok ok, tbf it's only been 3 games and their record is 2 draws and a defeat but the fact is they have yet to win here :P1:) so destiny says they will fail once again to beat us. A hard fought 2-1 win for us then.

Portsmouth Fa cup (h) win
Think we will win this one as both team are likely to make changes. Our changes might be for the better as a few players look like they need a rest. If Portsmouth field a first XI then I'll go for the draw with us losing the replay.

Cheltenham (a) Draw
Chelthenham have picked up of late and look in good form. Wycombe isn't an easy place to go so getting a 3-3 draw was a decent result. We don't seem to play well there either. Got a draw last season and feel it will be the same result.

Cambridge (h) Win
I think we'll be up for this one looking to repair some of the damage of our last league home game. I'm sure Berry will be looking to score against his old team. Don't know much about Cambridge this season however. Mid table and inconsistent it seems. A win by a couple of goals.

Carlisle (h) Win
Another home win against a team who haven't lived up to last seasons form. The fact that it's a long midweek trip won't help their cause. A comfortable win on the cards.

Crewe (a) Draw
I'm hoping that with two home wins we will start to believe in ourselves again and turn it on at Crewe. I have no idea how well they will perform but they are at home so I'll be slightly cautious and predict a draw, although we are well capable of the win.

If these results go to plan then another good month. I'd gladly sacrifice the cup to concentrate on the league but we all know what the kind of money it can generate. We are long overdue a 3rd tie against one of the big clubs. Been an age since that happened.

Maidstone H (FAC) - Win - Imagine we'll play a strong team which should be too good for them
Newport A (Trophy) - Lose - Think we're out anyway, should play as weak a team as possible
Luton H - Lose - We're usually quite hard to beat at home but I'd fancy them to score a few against us with their attack
Notts County A - Lose - The sort of game we always lose, away at one of the best in the division rarely ends well for us
Cambridge H - Win - At home against mid and lower table teams is where we'll pick up most of our points, fancy us to edge a close one
Forest Green A - Win - Should be a cracker, hope we can beat them after two draws in the NL winning season

6/12 points plus FA Cup progression wouldn't be too bad from those fixtures.

Haven't looked at our fixture list, just know from above that we're playing Luton. We'll lose so badly that it will spill out over the rest of the month.

Surely not, this is the Crewe that goalshy Carlisle beat 5-0 at Gresty Road, the freescoring Luton should steamroller them.

Bristol Rovers H - ? - Honestly don't know. If we go full strength then we'll give them a game, but I wouldn't be hugely surprised if Nolan rotates. Not actually that bothered, think the cup takes on less significance when you're challenging at the top in the league.

Lincoln A - L - Our really good start seems to have ended any interest we may have had in this. We'll make 10 or 11 changes and the Mansfield game showed that we don't have the depth to do that and get a result.

Stevenage A - D - Stevenage were easily the best team that I saw last season. They seem inconsistent this time but it's still a place where I'd be happy to get a draw.

Cheltenham Town H - W - No reason to think that we can't beat anyone at Meadow Lane.

Yeovil Town A - L - Our record at Yeovil is an absolute car crash and Nolan will likely rotate heavily.

Colchester United H - W - The best home team in the league against one who are notoriously useless away. Should be routine, right?

7 from 4 would be a solid return and likely enough to keep us top three. Got to focus on winning the two home games and then anything we can get on the road would be a bit of a bonus.

But we thought we'd steamroller out of form Crawely but struggled to get a goaless draw. Crewe is just the same type of fixture where we are expected to win yet can easily struggle.

Au contraire, that's probably the way to play at the moment for a limited side at The Kenny.

Don't think we'll have too much to shout about again this month. Not expecting us to win many games but we're starting to look like we're capable of not losing too.

You're being too harsh on your lot I reckon. I know you got a couple of, frankly speaking, embarrassing 3 nil home defeats to Swindon and Coventry but I wouldn't go as far as saying you're limited. 'Not that great' would be more a fitting description me thinks.

So another month unbeaten in the league will be nice. Gives us some points before the heavy damp pitches arrive mid-December and we lose our way like every other year since the Great Plague.

Bristol Rovers (Home, FA Cup) - Win. Think we might be able to overcome a Bodin-less Rovers at ML.

Stevenage (Away) - Draw. They've been on a poor run recently, but a point wouldn't be bad here.

Cheltenham (Home) - Win. As above, no reason to think we can't win this.

Yeovil (Away) - lose. Again, going with the consensus above. Just don't fancy this one. Zoko will probably score.

Col U (Home) - Win. See Cheltenham.

So 7 points from 4 games, which would give us 40 points from 20 games. Realistically then we would only need around 30/35 points from 26 games, i.e. slightly better than bottom 4 form, to secure a play-off place at the very least.

Heybridge Swifts (H - FA Cup) - Win - Think we'll be too strong for this lot, even with making changes.

Grimbsy (H) - Draw - Will be a tough one, but think we should just about avoid defeat

Chesterfield (A) - Lose - We always lose when against Jack Lester, and even though he's now manager, he'll probably still find away of scoring past us.

Crawley (A) - Win - Don't see why we wont win this. Have a decent record at Crawley so no reason why we wont win.

Accrington (H) - Win - See above

Chelsea U21's (H Checkafraud trophy) - Win - Nobody likes this cup, so we'll probably win and go through to the next round.

7/12 points in the league and progress in 2 cups would be a decent return (except Checkafraud)

Well after a poor October which again produced 0 home wins, fans are really starting to become pissed off with the shit home form, and after a dreadful performance at chesterfield, the pressure is really on to pick up points this month to make sure we stay away from those dreaded relegation slots.

Oldham (H) FA Cup - Draw

Yeovil (H) WIN (finally!)

Grimsby (A) Lose

Luton (A) Lose

Morecambe (H) Draw

4 points is all I think we'll get, as well as a cup replay at Oldham. Our away fixtures are tougher this month so I’m expecting 2 defeats. We probably have a checkatrade game among it but i don’t give 2 fucks about it.
