Walker isn't anywhere near the ball in this picture, it looked like it was even further in than that from where I was stood. Shocking decision really, not even bodies in the way or anything.

How has the linesman not seen that there is daylight between the post and ball?

OMG that is as embarrassing for poor old Sutton, no wonder they felt aggrieved, Hawkeye would be disenfranchised if he had got something as badly wrong as that. Can't necessarily blame the ref, but the lino needs a good few demotions for not seeing it, its a couple of feet over the line for goodness sake

What, your lad looking resigned to getting caught? Can't read much into Murphy's.

Bear in mind this is the player that was rolling around mortally wounded squealing like a stuck pig seconds before. That red card must have had magical healing properties given the physio is nowhere to be seen..

That seriously wasn't given? The Lino needs an eye check.

As I say, didn't see the incident but no doubt Rhys milked it which is a bit shit. But you can't see that from the pic and if he has kicked him it is his own daft fault.
Shame for the contest as you certainly weren't out of it even two down.

I saw the incident as I was looking 'through' it to watch the free kick. Murphy backed into Evans and looked like he tried to tread on his foot, Evans reacted and Murphy then did his dying swan act. Evans was stupid for retaliation and deserved to go, but it's Murphy's obvious exaggeration to get a fellow player sent off that leaves a sour taste. I just thought you were a far better team who didn't need to resort to that tactic. Anyway, done now.

Is Mr McNamara for real?
Evidently we bullied his poor little choir boys :(

Gotta feel for the York fans reading that hog wash. Decent bunch last night and in good humour despite their teams performance. They deserve better than him.

http://m.yorkpress.co.uk/sport/1478...evaluate__39__future_after_Guiseley_humbling/

He can fuck off, but evidently hasn't. I don't care about the stupid train and car crap a lot of fans got upset over, I care about the abysmal on-field performances. Last night was a disgrace, no offence to Guiseley at all either because they completely deserved it, but at no stage should York City be going to bottom of the league, with parachute payments, full-time squad and conceding six goals. It's completely insane that he hasn't gone yet after that.

"Wrexham were the moral victors in what was a very tough game against a physical Lincoln side."

How many points do you get for a moral victory lads?
Give us a break we have to cling on to some hope!
Sounds like one of our better performances at home up until Lincoln scored.

Truly is one game at a time now for Mills in the sack-o-meter. Lose at Tranmere and the knives will be firmly back out again, having bought himself some time with a solid performance and win at Boreham Wood.
Sounds like the best time to be playing Tranmere, full of injuries from what I've read on here and form fallen since being the early front runners.. no better time to try and make it 3 wins in 10 months at Prenton Park.

When's that striker you signed in the summer back? He might be the missing piece of the jigsaw.

Sounded like Wrexham were a bit like every Mills team ever; lots of nice tppy-tappy passing from side to side but no cutting edge.

No, we don't even do tippy tappy stuff anymore.

I agree, almost embarrassing as the ball over the line. To me intentionally trying to get players sent off is as low as you can get in football
Agree about the players trying to get another player sent off.....but...There is enough players in this league that try it thought

2:45ish in is the Evans' incident. From the video it looks like he just tripped Murphy, who then decided to audition for a spot on the Team GB 2020 gymnastics team. From the video it looks a little harsh but Evans was stupid for giving the referee a decision to make.

I watched the above video and have to say that it is hard to tell what happened from that angle, the picture is a bit blurry and there are a couple of players partly obscuring Evans and Murphy. So, as far as I am concerned it is inconclusive. Someone has copied a comment from the Aldershot forum onto ours, written by a fan who said they had clear view of the incident and reckoned Evans kicked out as Murphy ran past, they called it as a definite red card.

Presume Shots will appeal it if they have evidence it wasn't merited, I can't make much out from the vid either except that your chance that hits the bar was even more of a gift than I remembered. See the second half merited a whacking 60 seconds :D

About as long as a full home FGR highlights show then :emb:

The angles difficult so its hard to say but there definitely is movement in his right leg towards Murphy, and if you look its totally in the refs sightline. Fully agree he made the most of it which we all hate, but I cant see how Murphy would have got to fall unless he was kicked out at, which is a sending off, especially in that sort of situation. Theres some great play in the highlights from both sides at times.

Probably a foul, but the play-acting is shameful. If the two players face each other again this season, you can bet that Murphy gets "special treatment".
Scum. Sub-human scum.

How is Jackie McNamara still in a job that is absolutely shocking, seems like he's got the choice of when to leave as a win at Braintree on Saturday will keep him on for a bit. The York board need to pull their fingers out of their arses and sack him before it's too late.

Clear red card for Evans. Reminiscent of those Halifax thugs at Welling that time.

Take it you have other footage then as I can't tell much from the highlights. On face of that seems more a foul at worst than violent conduct and I'd rather not see bannings for lesser stuff.

There is apparently more conclusive evidence from our analysts video I've been told, but I very much doubt it will see the light of day. The difficult thing with all appeals is not the evidence, but getting the official to admit he was wrong, something I am very much not holding my breath over.
