Thought it a good time to take stock of those players that have impressed after 1/4 way through the season.
While we obviously haven't played all teams yet, have seen the majority either first hand or on BT Sport. Here is the 11 that have impressed me so far.

GK - Davies (Tranmere) - solid, few errors

RB - Caprice (Woking) - easily best player in an average Woking side
CB - Johnson (Eastleigh) - big, physical, read the game well, always seemed to be in the right place
CB - Pinnock (FGR) - stepped up 2 leagues, not at best v Dover when played out of position at LB
LB - Habergham (Lincoln) - looked great v Torquay, getting good reviews from Lincs fans

RM - Maguire-Drew (D&R) - too good for this level at just 19, great loan signing
CM - Noble (FGR) - just superb, scored 2 goals, creative with 5 assists, energetic, drives whole team on
CM - Boucaud (D&R) - so calm on the ball (similar to FGRs Traore) and seems to win lots of ball
LM - Andrade (Boreham Wood) - tore us apart like last year at Woking, assume he is injured atm?

CF - Miller (Dover) - hat-trick against us, wanted by every team in the league, enough said
CF - Hawkins (D&R) - leading goal scorer, looked unplayable against Wrexham, 2 hat-tricks

Haven't seen Barrow or Aldershot, and a few others, so not included them.

Alex Woodyard has been by far and away our best player. Far too good for this level.

Can we do one of these threads after the first game next season?

Indeed been excellent you can see why won awards last season while at Braintree.
Also been really impressed with Arnold too, gets better with every game and needs to see more of the ball as he scares teams big time.

Yes, Jake has been very good for us so far. Murtagh and Poke have also been consistent performers.

Of players I've seen:
Danny Whitaker (Macclesfield) - tore us apart along with Danny Rowe
Matt Rhead (Lincoln) -
bummed Brian Saah in the gob despite being a fat monk
Jordan Maguire-Drew (Dagenham) - had a very good first-half when he was up against Ben Gordon
Aidan Connelly (York) - ran the show when they scored 47 goals inside 20 minutes against us

The standard of this division is beyond poor, though.

Ricky Miller. Best player I've seen live and overall best in the division probably.

We're shite but Shwan Jalal has been very good for us in nearly all games.

Ricky Miller is by a mile best player seen this season.
Tranmere left back the worst

Danny Rowe did well against us for 45 minutes. Niate of Solihull had a good game up until his sending off and I think it was CM Mafuta of Gateshead. He looked very good.

Funnily enough, I'd have put York's Kaine Felix as one of the stand-out opponents. Bonne and Hawkridge for Lincoln and Maidstone's Flisher also had decent games against us.

Eastmond for Sutton, Flisher for Maidstone and Akinola for Braintree have all looked good against us.

Connolly (York), Akinola (Braintree), Woodyard (Lincoln) and Johnson (Eastleigh) were all very good when we played them. For us Danny Rowe has carried on from where he left off at the end of last season and has started the season in fantastic form.

Turgott looked decent for Bromley though stand-out might be pushing it, and Aswad Thomas had a good game as well as Miller in that goal fest at Dover.

Connolly (York) and the centre back partnership of Johnson/Cresswell (Eastleigh) have impressed me the most so far from the teams we have played.

Miller did alright when I saw him I suppose. Connolly of York looked a good player as well.

Speaking of York, Richard Brodie played well against us too.....

Not seen any of the TV games, so only seen most our home games and a couple away. Not many players stood out (actually, Braintree's keeper looked good but has since been released...) bar the Tranmere match, and that was Lois Maynard - he absolutely bossed the game, played great passing football. The Chester sub striker also caused us a lot of problems (Akintunde?).

Of our own players, Livesey is still up there with the best at the back, Byron Harrison has been a revelation since he found his fitness and should hit 20+ this season, and Jordan Williams has been Man of the Match at probably every home game. Great player.

Maynard was like the non league Yaya Toure at the start of this season, definitely the main reason we started as well as we did....then Brabin starting playing him at right back and ruined his confidence.

Noble looks a cut above any midfield player I have seen this season, and though Hawkins surprisingly had a quiet game against us, nine goals in eleven is quite superb especially in his first season in the Conference.
Miller (being played out of position as well) is obviously a completely different type of player, annoyingly difficult to keep quiet he also has to be one of the fittest players I've ever seen, he just doesn't stop.
Though I think Noble, for all his class will stay, especially with his relationship with Cooper, I would actually be astonished if either of the above two are actually still be in the conference past January though.
Cant speak for how Daggers fans may feel about Hawkins doing the off, but I know we are absolutely dreading the possibility.
The same disappearing act could possibly happen to Lincolns Woodyard who it appears never has anything but a good game

Perfect description! That's exactly how he was playing - I think he was at right-back at PP last season and looked crap...

Our whole back four, but Johnson & Cresswell as a CH pair have been very very good for us.
Against us, the FGR keeper stood out, but that's about it really. Honestly haven't seen anyone against us yet, who i felt would get into our side.

Thought Messi, Suarez and Neymar looked pretty decent on BT against Celtic the other week. Best front 3 I've seen live this season. They would probably get in the Eastleigh side.

No idea because we play in a shittier division and I am too peasant to buy a programme and figure out their names.

Right-winger, gruffalo looking guy from Salford looked dangerous. The tubbier Brackley centre-half kept our Mani quiet earlier on in the season too. In general, the division is mostly full of teams who don't play an attractive style anyway and not really been impressed by anyone to date.

The only three who really have stood out against us and I would prefer to what we've already got are Jordan Williams, Sim Akinola and Ricky Miller. Bear in mind we've yet to play FGR, Eastleigh or Lincoln though.

Southport's keeper kept the score down, he looked decent. Barrow look to have spent their money well. Daly the other big CB for Solihull did well too.

We turned down a £100,000+ bid for Jordan Williams on deadline day...

Bennett and Harrison are both on for 20+....
Moussa Diarra whilst dividing opinions is improving with every game and had Rhead in his pocket all last weekend.
On the subject of Rhead - looked good in the air and had a good touch on Saturday (both away from the penalty area) - but man is that guy slow - he couldn't beat McNulty in a race with a 10 yard start....

That's a lot of money to turn down. Who was it from? Is he worth more then that?

from an un-named league side - and yep the way he's been playing he's worth a lot more - seams to have been man of the match in a lot of games so far this season
