Sorry to butt in - just thought that I'd say that having had a look at my ticket for next Sat's game, printed at the bottom is;

Notts County FC, Meadow Lane, Nottingham, NG etc.

That's all. No mention of County anything.

Swindon play at the County ground, Notts play at Meadow Lane , full stop.
You might hear people say "I'm going to County or I'm going down County " but I've never heard anyone from Nottingham who knows anything at all about Notts call it the County ground although I have seen it wrongly named that by people outside of Nottingham.
In the same way no one calls Forest, Notts Forest . They call themselves twice winners of the European Cup , we call them geriatric dinosaurs living in the past and pretty crap right now.

Couldn't really complain about the result here. If you took this game in isolation you could probably say that Pompey could and should have been 2 or 3 goals up by half-time. However, this failure to make our dominant periods count is happening too many times for it to be considered unlucky. The second half was pretty shambolic once Sheridan had made a few tactical changes.

The number of goals we're conceding from consistently few chances is really worrying. We seem to be missing Webster badly. After a steady start Tom Davies has made plenty of blunders so we need to get a fit Matt Clarke in asap. A proper right-back wouldn't go amiss too and happily it looks like both Talbot and Buxton should be available next week.

didn't rate Talbot from what I've seen, clearly a good player in the past but may be pushing it years/fitness wise. Hard boots to fill with the fantastic season ben davies had there last year though.
