Think one of the top five will drop away too, think there will be 2 spots available in the play offs as opposed to one, I know it is only paper talk but being linked with Adebayor shows the calibre of player we are after and money available.

Would you be happy with him on 50k? I think that would unsettle your team and do more harm than good. It is exactly what we done and it leads to a dressing room divide.

No, I wouldn't want him, not at that price and not with his attitude.

Was bound to happen, were getting by on confidence. The fact that they haven't even won a game by more than a goal shows how close their games were, so just a little change (lower confidence) has a big change in their results.

Still think they'll comfortably make top 6 as I reckon they'll spend in January to ensure it.

I think any side with 7 first team players out would struggle. Has been a tough run of fixtures. It's a tight, competitive league and it's not like we've lost to Bolton and Charlton. Boro and Ipswich are both decent sides.

Brightons defeat to Wolves was a bad one, they're as bad a team as i've seen at Hillsborough this season, that said the shouldn't have lost really. hopefully the few defeats has dented their confidence and they fall away. It's anybody's the play-offs this season, fair few teams will fancy their chances of nipping in

The two games we played vs Brighton this season they haven't impressed me at all. The first game at Molineux was 0-0, we had 10 men and still looked the more dangerous team, saved a penalty too. The game on NYD they were poor. Considering how bad we have been this season, especially defensively I was surprised they couldn't break us down.

On those two viewings I can't see them staying in the top 6 for too long.

With all these signings who will you be offloading? I'd have Bryson or Russell in a heartbeat.

I seem to recall many of your fans saying we were better than they had expected (seems to be a theme this season) and both sides cancelled each other out. A point away at Wednesday is a good point.

I thought we were on top at your place, just couldn't break you down which isn't uncommon as it's often said it can be harder against 10 men as they get organised and behind the ball to make it hard for you. Was a frustrating point for us in a game we felt we should have won. In the home game, we had 7 first team players out and were still the better side and unlucky not to get something out of it. Wolves offered very little and we gifted you the only goal of the game.

Watford lost 4 games in a row last November and still won automatic promotion. I'm not saying we'll win automatic promotion but we were not top of the league for so long by accident. We've been decimated by injuries but now have an opportunity to recruit new players. LuaLua, missing since August when he was the Championships Player of the Month is almost ready to return and Baldock is close to a return too. I don't think anyone should be writing us off yet.

You may have had a few injuries, but firstly that is what squad depth is for, you'd expect a few injuries at a time throughout the season.

But I think it's quite clear that Brighton were running on confidence. Still just Brighton and Bolton who haven't won a game this season by more than a goal. You weren't tearing teams apart when you were on form / fully fit, and now just slightly weaker and out of form it has all gone crashing down.

As i've said in this thread I thought you'd spend well in January to keep up a top 6 finish, but your form is much worse than I could have imagined and is now looking reasonably likely that you won't even make that. Despite going 20 odd games unbeaten.
