We have to get something at Macclesfield tomorrow. Play like we did at Dagenham and we have a chance, although if we play like we did against Sutton we'll get beat.

Big 6 pointers at Lincoln and Woking tomorrow too!

Leaving at 7 tomorrow to be there, really hope we bring back the 3 points!! People might call us joke fans and tinpot but you can't argue with the fact that us travelling tomorrow are far from tinpot.

I don't care if Torquay do have just 5 players like they claim, they'll still keep a clean sheet against us.

Setting off at 7 tomorrow, Saturdays are not meant to start so early. Fucking BT. Oh well, will be worth it if we BLOW THE TITLE RACE WIDE OPEN. Doubt we will, but you never know. Need to keep our cool and play the game, not the occassion.

We've 9 games left and need about 4 or 5 points. Will we get one tomorrow? I think we're more likely to beat Lincoln City than Bromley tomorrow. In other words no f*cking chance.

Forest Green are the favourites for tomorrow's match, they will see this as a missed opportunity to validate their millions if they fail to win. A win for us would be against the odds, much like the majority of what we've done this season.

Who knows.

Right .. the team that beat a PL team and two teams in the Champ are not favourites ... right

Full of respect for our opponents tomorrow, they've fought like lions to stay in the title race and have shown great courage mentally, especially after what happened at the New Lawn. They've earnt the right to be favourites for this match with their recent form.

Absolute MUST WIN this one. With any other run in a draw would be okay, the 2 games in hand would allow that. But this is our LAST game against a side in the bottom half, a single point simply will not do.

After Tuesday's highly unexpected win, the season's trend means that we will now lose to Maidstone and the DOOM will set in again.

But what we must first establish is which team are the favourites to win. This is absolutely crucial ahead of any six pointer. It can have a massive effect on the game's outcome. I'd expect there to be plenty of insightful and interesting posts to come regarding this highly important matter.

Being at home, you're the favourites. Mhm.

From a Tranmere perspective, a draw, 22 player brawl and touchline bans for the Cowleys and Cooper would be fine. In reality, Lincoln probably need something out of this one more than the other Rovers do and I'm not quite sure how things will fall.

Cowley era Braintree were the best side to visit Prenton Park last season. The current side are difficult opponents but not of the same calibre and I'm hopeful rather than confident that we can squeeze a win out of this.

I bet Matt Rhead is full of the excitement of a big game. Been on the gravy since 4am, pockets stuffed with Yorkshire puddings

Time for us to beat Dover for the first time. (I'll take a draw now)

We're either really good or really really bad away. But I would take a draw too. You're in better form than us. Probably depends on how fired up Miller is

Home to York who are in very good form. We can't afford to limp into the play offs and need to pick up some form. Two home games in a row and need to win them both before we travel to Lincoln Monday week.

I fancy a York win here with our best midfielders out none of the back up are stepping up.

Is there not an FGR forum for all this?

We're at Solihull, not a great deal to play for - a win gives us some false hope for another few days, defeat finally puts the nail in the coffin of this season. They were poor at our place, except for Asante, who has gone now. Probably give us a hiding today.

I can't contain myself. My excitement has gone THROUGH THE ROOF.

LEEEEEEEET'S GET READYYYYYY TO RUUUUUUUUMBBBBLLLEEEEEEEE... against Braintree Town.

Interesting Braintree stuff:

If you Google 'Braintree', the football club doesn't appear in the results. If you separate it into 'Brain Tree', the football club is on the first page. Coincidence? I think not.

Also according to Google, the top question asked about Braintree is "What is a Braintree?", shortly followed by "What is the meaning of Braintree?". Nobody knows.

Braintree's record attendance was for a non-competitive match (testimonial).

I'm done.

Absolutely massive game in the promotion race today. Macclesfield vs Aldershot should be a cracker.
