Another tinpotter.

1/2 for Wrexham to win at home seems a very decent accumulator addition. We'll react to yesterday, I'm sure of it.

Hopefully have a few bodies back for Doncaster at home on Saturday. They seem to struggle against the better sides in the division so I once again fancy us for the win. They're inconsistent though so I think they'll give us a real tight game.

Think Long will miss out again but big Nev might be back. Tabiner may be back and Tracey and Rowe will be back to full fitness so we'll be in a stronger position for this game. Fancy us to edge it 2-1 and that'll set us up nicely for a midweek trip down to Sutton!

Wondering if we'll have a new manager in place for this one. I think Pearson and Davies can do Sutton so might be better to save that new manager bounce for MK Dons on the following Tuesday. A win would give us a nice 7 points out of 9 for the caretaker duo.

Defence desperately needs a clean sheet here, if we could sort that out we could be a decent team as we've got forwards that seem capable of scoring.

Conteh changed the game yesterday and has to start for me, we retain possession so much better with him in the side. The conundrum for me is do we then drop Green as they both adopt similar sorts of positions, but if we're up against the usual sort of Sutton side then someone like Green is ideal as he'll just smash himself into their midfield. I'd be tempted to play both but push Green further up alongside Andrews or Holohan and not use him in his usual DMC role. I'd also be dropping Rodgers for Waterfall. Up top, I'm really not sure what our best combo is. The three that started did alright in difficult conditions but then Wilson coming on provided the goals (not that he knew much about the first). Pyke works the channels better than Wilson for me. I'm still not sure about Rose in a three and it seems a bit unbalanced when we have two naturally central players and one wide player in a three. Khan is back and I think is perhaps a better foil for Glennon down the left than Gnahoua who hasn't really done anything to warrant losing his place.

We are certainly getting better especially as we get more bodies back, not sure if Miller will be fit for the bench but would be great if he is, virtually as good a squad as we could have available before January. You are correct though we are inconsistent which is driving McCann barmy. I’m expecting a tight game but not expecting anything from it, I’d take a draw now if offered.

Accrington at home. Not a side I want to be playing right now. The mood is low around the club - go one down early like in the last four games and I think things could turn nasty. Accrington will come and employ the dark arts - diving, time-wasting, sacrificing small animals to the dark God Imhotep. I remember losing to them 3-0 at home in McCall's first spell in charge, and it was one of the worst performances I have ever seen.

I pray Alexander doesn't go 4-4-2 again. We were utterly woeful against County in the first half, but improved in the second. Need to start playing for ninety minutes instead of in patches. I think once we get Chapman, Oliver and Pattison back we'll pick up some points.

City 1 Accrington 1.

Need Tabiner and Nevitt back as a minimum. Would also like to see where Lunt and Holicek are up to, they'll help pad out the bench. But as you said, hopefully we'll be healthier and can pick up another win.

So again we're above our opponents in the form table, which seems odd as we remain pretty shit. Would be nice if our league position edged a bit closer to twelfth but suspect it'll depended on whether Walsall have a mare as we'll just do the same old.

We've now got Baldwin probably our best centre half suspended but should get Jones back from international duty and Bostock will be a week fitter.
New ground and looking forward to it. So far I've seen us get 1pt from 12 away and seen is concede five twice so hoping I'm due to see a win.

Yikes didn't realise Baldwin is missing even though he's got a mistake him in every game he's our best centre back and suits our system best at the back.

But as you say MOTM from Wembley stadium J Jones is back.

New ground for me and the nearest to my new home so a no brainer. Be interesting to hear what the Dons are like, style of play, key man and what form they are or aren't in from a fans perspective?

Oddsmakers have the home side as solid favourites so sounds like we are playing one of those good teams again.

With a 1200 allocation should be another very decent away following from Nottingham.

You did that last season at your place.

Would he very happy with a point, but we do look like we’ve kicked into gear a bit.

I'd be very surprised if we did anything other than lose at Tranmere, very us.

We desperately need 2 or 3 bodies back for this. If we have either Long or Nevitt and Tabiner I midfield I will be pretty confident in getting a win. Without them it will be tough and maybe not a great watch but given the way we've played recently we are still more than capable of getting a result. Doncaster seem a strange team, capable of looking very good but also the polar opposite. I watched them recently vs Tranmere and that was the case in that game, looked very good going 2-0 up, but then a poor Tranmere side got a goal back and Donny were in the end lucky to hang on for the win.

Crewe 2-1 Doncaster (Baker-Richardson, Demetriou, Faal) 4,650 (600 Donny)

Think you’re in with a good chance of taking some if not all of the points. With Luke Norris out for a while, we’re short of options up front, while teams are starting to get wise to the threat of Blackpool loanee Rob Apter.

I'd hope we'd get something, but we've already lost to sides in the bottom 2 three times this season so I'm not massively confident against teams in the lower reaches.

I’d be quite surprised if Tranmere score against you having watched you churn out a couple of 1-0 away wins this season. Tranmere have one player to watch really down the right. Guess a bit different at home compared to away but I’d expect you to comfortably see them off.

How many times have you seen us play this season?
We don’t normally play as defensively away as we did on Saturday, guess the mentality was to get something and break the pointless away run. Certainly wont be like that at home. While I think Gillingham are favourites it’s more likely to be a 1-2 than a 0-1

Wrexham at home for the 50th time this season, no doubt every goal (home and away) will go in at that same end

Convinced they don't even have another goal

We've played the same amount of home games as away games this season.

Thanks for your interest.

Have to agree with the above assessment but we are a stronger team now, still lots to work on but more bodies back gives us far more options, not sure Miller will make the bench though.
Still think Crewe will have too much for us

Talks of protests in the shape of tennis balls on Saturday. Personally don't see it happening but lose and it will reach boiling point for sure.

Fans have had enough.

Might aswell sack the new manager now if your gunna do that a few games in, even though it’s not aimed at him it’ll ruin his chances.

We'll have suspensions of our own in the form of Biler and Bugiel. Biler is an exciting full back to watch and I like him, but Ogundere has proven to be a capable deputy at RB so not too worried about that one. Bugiel will be more of a miss, as he makes a general nuisance of himself and wins a lot of headers for Ali Al Hamadi to run on to. With Pell still injured I think, it will likely mean Josh Davison filling in. He will run around a lot, get booked for wrestling with one of your centre backs, and probably not do much more than that.

Ryan Johnson should be back from injury after playing in the pizza cup game on Saturday, but if not Pearce has looked a solid replacement despite his lack of mobility.

We have tended to "vacate" the area in front of our penalty box in recent seasons, leaving us wide open and very vulnerable to countering, but it's a lot better this season with Reeves and Little in there now. Hopefully they are on it Saturday or McGoldrick could have a field day dropping deep and pulling the strings.

Al Hamadi is the danger man for us, hopefully he returns from international duty unscathed.
Should be a good game, think it will be a sell out or close to. Both sides could win this very easily... my heart says home win, but my head says score draw. We are very hard to predict, can play some lovely stuff at times, but then still capable of the odd collective brain fart where we concede 2 in 2 minutes...

Once. It was as much a comment on Gillingham than yourselves. They shut out Swindon who are quite potent generally pretty easily. Obviously Tranmere not entirely without quality and we can all look a bit stupid with predictions but I’m struggling to see where you’ll trouble them.
