Bignot's said there will be a few home debuts in this one so it will hopefully freshen up our terrible home form.
I can't make this one as I'm having to wait in for useless British Gas to come and fix my boiler that they only fitted in December, smart one. :2thumb:
Prediction, god knows but I fancy both teams to score.

My fourth home game of the season, hopefully see us pick up at least a point. Watched three defeats so far. Some new faces in our squad, no idea how the result will come out.

4 - 0 to Grimsby

If you score early you'll win by a landslide

No Vose, must be on his way back to Scunny. Expect Lincoln will then sign him and with Arnold they'll rip everyone apart...

Having been brought up on the likes of Jack Lewis, Bobby Cumming, Mikey Brolley, Tony Ford, I struggle with the concept of playing with no wingers - only one in the squad now Browne has gone on loan - Bolinwara - he reminds me of a more muscular version of Paul Emson - very quick but with strangely uncoordinated feet that do random things with the ball...

Good collective performance today, nobody particularly poor with some real stand out performers. Andrew, Mills, Pearson, Comley all great. Even Vernon put in a shift and deserved his goal. Osborne looks like a real gem, played his part in both goals and was pulling the strings in the second half. Can't wait to see more of him.

What were we playing at the end? We had 4 centre backs and 3 fullbacks on the pitch!

They need to start a campaign #toomuchhistorytogodown...

Actually in our final struggles against relegation the fans really got behind the team - a couple of 7k home crowds and big away followings, I expect County fans to do the same in March / April.

Today's goals:

Brilliant persistence from Osborne for the first and nice finish from Vernon too.

Just listened to Bignot's interview and I just love listening to the guy.
Talking about Shaun Pearson spraying passes about like Beckenbauer so he was calling him 'Becks' on the touchline "I think he thought I meant David Beckham but Shaun's not as good looking as him is he!"

Dickinson is a joke of a footballer, how was he a captain at Vale?

Yippee, we won. County were poor though, good job because 1st half so were we. Two new guys started and took a while to gel I suppose, second half we kept the ball on the ground and looked a lot better.

So, what's going to be the answer to the question next season.

Who are the oldest football league team in England?

Seriously, I don't know.
A lot of vale fans loved him, even though he's ex stoke.
He earned a lot of kudos by playing even though his mum has just died.
They even had a song for him.
He was always toss, but, gave 100% every game, and limited as he was that was enough it seemed.
I was very happy to see him go.
Oh, he always came over to clap the fans as well.

Just answered my own question thanks to Google and rather surprised by the answer.

IF Notts County do get relegated then the answer will be Stoke City!

Their potential Burton moment is at Newport, Cheltenham are at Pompey...nasty. Orient are at Blackpool.

We are done without new signings, current team just isn't good enough. Nolan has actually improved our shape a lot already and I thought we largely looked solid, but it's all pointless when we've got so many players capable of a ridiculous individual cock up like the one Tootle made for the first goal.

Having two totally unproven teenagers straight out of the academy as our only attacking options off the bench isn't ideal, either. It looks bleak.
