Love that. The petulant child Cristiano getting shown up on his big day.

Barca's title to lose.

Don't rub it in. I'm sure Dessy is well aware his comments on Suarez were as bollocks as his comments on Moyes and would like to forget about them.

Is every manager Dessy rates shit?

Couldn't be happier that the waiter wont even last the season.

He was pretty shit in big games for Liverpool to be fair. At least in 2013/14 he was.

I haven't been following Rafa's career very much after he left but..what the hell was that? That formation was way too attacking and it's so un-Rafa like. I wonder if he bowed to the pressure like Mourinho did in his first Clasico, it's almost a carbon copy of the style of play Jose tried to play, with almost similar circumstances.

Exactly. I didn't watch the game but when I saw this 433 with no DM I thought no bloody wonder they got outplayed in the center of the park. Also agree on how this is really not like Rafa to play such a risky side in the biggest game of the domestic season. He played a very simple and straigthforward 442 against us and RM didn't concede any goals (truth be told, we're shite going forward). Almost as if he fears PSG more than Barca.

He certainly won't leave before the season's end but he's not going to outlive Carlo as RM manager that's for sure.

Not really a symptom of Rafa, Real Madrid have been spanked with some frequency by Barcelona over the past 5-6 years. They're just a dysfunctional club and team. Nice to see Ronaldo be completely anonymous, surprised he didn't score, he usually does and contributes little else but is happy with that. Can't believe people ever considered him near Messi.

Philippe is Parisian, always been a PSG supporter. From what i gather he used to like and follow Liverpool closely but that's it.

And let's not forget that was after he continually called him shit whilst he was in the Liverpool job. What was his claim at one point? That Shankly would be turning in his gave?

Are you gonna try and deny that you have been bigging Benitez up ever since he left the Liverpool job?

I've no doubt I have said Benitez was better than Hodgson, Dalglish and Rodgers, but that's hardly bigging him up now is it?

Alan fucking Pardew is probably better than those three.

Ronaldo has never been better than Messi's prime, but there have been years where he has been better than Messi like in 2013.

An El Clássico not very disputed but still nice to watch the easiness with class of Barcelona against an adversary as Real Madrid.

Benitez is strange. I've said it before but the guy has seriously regressed. He's not as good a manager now as he was ten years ago, his ego and attitude have gotten in the way of any meaningful progression.

I think he's still just about the same guy, but the game has really changed in the last 10 years and he has failed to adapt.

Read a very decent article the other day about how the CL/top leagues were far more defensive in the mid-2000's, which really benefited defensive minded managers a la Mourinho and Rafa. After Guardiola came around things really changed and then you had the likes of Bayern/Dortmund playing some really intense football. Rafa didn't adapt and to a lesser extent, Mourinho didn't as well.

It serves them for getting rid of Ancelotti in the summer.

Unbelievable that he was sacked by both Chelsea and Real Madrid despite doing a great job at both.

Benitez to be kept for the time being, not because of faith in him, but due to politics. Joke of a club.
