"If everyone was as good as me, maybe we would be first” apparently that's what Cristiano Ronaldo said after the match.
Hilarious how after his poor performance today he can be able to open his mouth to say this kind of stuff. Other than that, his ego totally turns himself down. Real Madrid already doesn't seem an united team and the smug posture of CR7 won't help.

Ronaldo seems to be blaming everyone else but himself.

They need to fuck him off pronto. Get Hazard in. Or tempt us with an offer for Mahrez and they could switch Bale to the left where he's better.

Ronaldo's form this year has been woeful, he doesn't look the player he was. If he really said that though, he should be kicked out in the summer. He probably won't though as he and that despicable club suit each other perfectly.

"I don't want to disrespect anyone, but when the best players aren't available it's harder to win," Ronaldo said.

"I like to play with Karim, with Bale, with Marcelo."

"I'm not saying the others like Lucas Vazquez, Jese and Mateo Kovacic are not good players - they are very good players - but it's not the same."

Excellent for team unity that one, isn't it?

Whether Neville wins or loses as a manager is irrelevant to me unless he manages United or England (on the one side) or Liverpool or City (on the other).

I find it cute that Salty and yourself still seem to think he is affiliated with United that's all and get so upset on that rare occasion that Valencia win under him or are elated when he fucks it right up, that's all!

In a match I actually do care about though - Barca better fucking win tonight because I've got money riding on it.

I'm pretty sure Barca will win. It's just a case of who will score first out of Messi, Neymar and Suarez.

I hope so!

I'll go with Suarez because he's just ridiculous at the moment.

We don't get upset at all when he wins, its just prolonging the inevitable. He is so much out of his depth its untrue. He talks a good game but is not a manager.

I agree with you there. It was also one hell of a strange first job in management. Just because he was a very successful player and a good pundit doesn't mean he should be catapulted into a top-level job as he has been.

It's hubris mate, he believes his own waffle. Had he done it honestly he would've started lower down in England's lower leagues or the Championship, but to go to Valencia is utter folly.

What a free kick from Messi. Awesome goal.

Good luck keeping Barca out for the last 60 mins Sevilla.

I think he needs to be applauded for taking a big risk. He could very well sit on his arse in the Sky Sports studio with his fancy technology explaining us how football tactics work and go to tournaments with England every 2 seasons but he took the risk of managing a big club (possibly the 5th biggest club in Spain) in a country he has never played in and a language he arguably doesn't speak fluently.
He won yesterday and he has stopped the rut. It's always tough when you start a new job without experience but I'm he'll get there in a season or two.

Plus, y'know, it'll always be less ridiculous than Real appointing fucking Zidane who doesn't evern talk a good game but who got the job because he's a top bloke and he loves the club!

But he only got the job because he's mates with the owner. He should have started with Salford and worked his way up to learn his craft if he was serious about being a proper manager.

Getting a good job thanks to connections doesn't mean he's not serious about being a proper manager. If anything, he'll learn more things the hard way at Valencia.

Another home defeat for Valencia.

Oh dear

It's good to see Torres get on the scoresheet.

It was a Torres finish of old, instinctive. When he doesn't have to think on it, he is lethal still.
