Abysmal. I don't put my hard earned cash into this club week in week out to watch this bunch of wasters. And what do the management do to try and sort this shit out? Sign some journeyman nobody to just pick up a wage and act like he's already on a beach somewhere. Pathetic.

That's it. Sack the players. Sack the manager. Sack the board. I'm not going to another game until they get rid of the lot and restore some much needed pride and passion into this once great club.

Check my profile. I'm done

I wish I got a wage

its monday night, Sporting have played, we all await the result with bated breath!
Is it gonna be good news, has, Tom, our captain walked? did we concede another 6 goals?
or has the world gone mad and sporting have done a swindon town?.
Who will answer these important questions, who has the nerve to face the fans of this mighty 6 aside football side? Only time will tell!

I don't have much luck with clubs I support.
Cov are a total basket case and rarely is there any good news and now with Sporting Leyland who seem to be in total disarray .
FFS lads pull your bloody socks up and start winning some games. No doubt another heavy loss is on its way.
Might have to dust off my boots and shoot up the motorway to Preston if this continues

A 3-3 draw against top of the league Smokers United is a decent result after the way the season has gone so far, shame it was from 3-0 up :(

RESURRECTION!

After a shambolic first season which picked up a touch towards the end, the new season started tonight. We've made a few new signings including a keeper to replace Craig who has moved to London.

The keeper is my 17 year old cousin Jack, who played for PNE's academy until he left aged 14 after falling out of love with Football. After regaining his love of the game playing for College, I managed to persuade him to play for us tonight and what a coup it is. Made 4 or 5 stunning saves that he had no right to make.

The other new signings are Matt, Danny and Dean. Matt and Dean are our rocks at the back and along with Jack make up a very solid back 3. We then have stalwart Sam playing a holding midfield role with Danny then playing off me (big target man, think Jon Parkin with the belly to match) upfront.

The game started slowly against a team of quick, fit lads playing their first game in the league for the new season. They started well forcing a great save out of Jack but after that it was one way traffic. A long ball from Jack was poorly controlled by myself but fell perfectly for Danny who fired past a poor goalkeeper for the opener 5 mins in.

2 minutes later we had a throw in on the half way line, I took it down on my chest and threaded a lovely ball through to the on rushing Sam from midfield. He calmly passed it straight at the keeper who somehow managed to let it in  2-0 Sporting Leyland and dreams of just a 2nd win in 21 games was on the cards but we had been in this position a lot of times and thrown it away.

Right on the stroke of half time, they broke away and it was 2 on 1 and they passed it round Jack in net who almost managed to keep it out. 2-1 HT.

5 minutes into the 2nd half and the ball broke to me 15-20 yards from goal, a poor touch and a blocked shot, their lad chased it down and played it long to their nippy striker who smashed in off the post from 10 yards. 2-2 and fearing the worst after our previous fuck ups.

Straight from the kick off, a lovely move ending with Sam passing to Danny who flicked it past the keeper from 2 yards out. Get in there!!

10 minutes to go, can we start the new season with a win?!?!

We boxed them in very well and they were trying to play it out from the back and getting nowhere. Eventually they decided to go long with 2 minutes left and caused us some problems.

With 30 seconds to go, Danny went to clear the ball and the striker nipped it away at the last second. Danny hit his leg very hard and it was a bit of a horror challenge, thankfully the ref saw there was nothing malicious in it but it did nearly cause a huge fight

From the resulting free kick, Jack got down brilliantly to tip it round the post and then caught the corner and that was that. Cue big celebrations. Onto the pub for a pint. This is the season lads, thanks for sticking with us last season (lol) and this is the year we repay the faith of all the fans!

Great result tonight. Glad Rich's outlay on the big summer signings has paid off.

Didn't expect you to gel so soon.

Good result in the end but as usual the happy clappers are getting carried away. Can't let this paper over the cracks, it sounds like we got very lucky, if it wasn't for Jack they could've had 6 or 7. Even though there's been some much needed changes there's still a LOT of work to be done. For a start, that donkey up top is clearly not up to it. Need to get rid.

Sorry but im just not convinced, one game dosent make a season, could well be a flash in the pan, but if we can win 2 on the trot, well maybe things could happen! What has happened to Hodge, has he retired , defected, or was not good enough?
